I am 57 years old, retired, but working PT at a local church as an Adm Asst. I live on a 1/4 acre, in a 2017 mobile home. I have a 2017 - 14 ft. Retro camper and I belong to several camping clubs and I love to get outdoors and explore and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. My son is a local musician, and a member of the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. He performs all over the US, but if you come here and he's home and performing in this area, you're likely to be invited to one of his shows. You can google him: Chase Tyler or www.chasetylerband.com!
I play a little guitar. So it would be fun to sit and play if they too are on my level.
I have a Rat Terrier - medium size dog. She's sweet as can be and is totally addicted to me. She will bark as you enter, but that's just to let you know she's there! She loves attention.
not at this time. I hope to start doing some major traveling next year (2021).
Denham Springs/Watson is a small community that boarders Baton Rouge. So whether you want to see some city life or the country, this is a good place to stay. I'm only 30 minutes from the heart of Baton Rouge and the Mississippi River. There's usually a lot of fairs/festivals in and around this area. You probably won't have any trouble finding one. You can always check out Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festivals before you arrive. Also, there are a lot of great seafood restaurants around, and Denham Springs has a very nice, unique Antique Village that's fun the walk around in.
2017 - 14' Retro by Riverside, no slides, 30 amp hookup. Tow vehicle may vary, but will be a pickup truck.
We hosted Katrinalccy for a few days and although we didn't get the pleasure of meeting in person, their communication was great! They kept us updated on their status, including upon arrival and departure. They left our property as clean as (or more so) it was when they arrived. Couldn't even tell they'd been there.
Thanks, you guys are welcome to return anytime!
We were lucky enough to meet Katrinalccy. Spent some time chatting with them as they were outside when we got home. Great folks welcome back anytime. Wishing them safe travels.
We left home in a hurry and needed a place to stay made contact with Katrinalccy and she welcomed us even though she was not home because of the hurricane. She gave me directions and where to plug in and dropped by a little later to check on us. Thank you very much maybe next time we can visit a little more. I would stay again when in the area oh if she will let me. (lol)
