Gary and I are both retired. We currently only have chickens for fresh eggs and our dog. We enjoy the outdoors and working on our hobby farm. We like going to swap meets and looking at antiques.. We are both from CT and Gary has been in Salem his whole life. We have traveled a bit outside of the country but we are just starting to camp with our RV. We both have adult children nearby.
Gary is an avid hunter. Also, as the farm name suggests he is a car guy and is pretty handy. Michele makes soap and takes care of the chickens and enjoys cards and Mah Jongg. We have also made caramels when we had goats on the property.
We have a sweet yet crazy dog named Elvira. We expect her to calm down as she is only one. She is a tri-color Aussie. We have chickens, they stay in run and coop. Only the doggo gets to travel!
We haven't started yet but are looking to travel in Maine, Vermont, NY and possibly down south next spring.
Gary has lived in Salem, CT his whole life. I went to high school a loooong time ago nearby in East Lyme, CT

Great visit, very nice couple with well controlled and behaved doggie. We would gladly host the again. They provided good communication prior to arriving and during their stay.
This was just a quick stop over for these folks but we are sure glad they stopped in for the night! What geat people, so easy going and very interesting to chat with. Their pup, Elvira, was very well behaved and so loving. We wish they could have stayed longer and hope to see them again in the future! Just “Accept” if they should request to stay, you'll be glad you did.
We hosted “ GreaseMonkeyFarm” for 3 nights . It was a pleasure to have them and they are welcome to our home anytime . Enjoyed meeting them !
could be my best boondockers welcome stay yet... quiet, fresh eggs and treats, great conversion and a 2 1/2 mile loop trail right there. I sure hope to return some day.
GreaseMonkeyFarm hosts were very welcoming, and I had a very nice peaceful and quiet stay. Highly recommended!
