I graduated from LSU, worked overseas for many years and have come back home to live on my property in sw Louisiana. I would like to make these 14 acres into a campground, cabins and have rvs as well. I'm surrounded by 5 plantation homes within a hours drive, 45 minutes to bourbon st New Orleans and Baton Rouge and 30 minutes to a great alligator and swamp tour. The food is great too. My day usually begins at 5, coffee with my two dogs, then mass at 630 and the rest of day cutting grass and planting.
I know a lot about many things but not very skilled in anything.
I have two. Lucky is a midsize poodle and Elsa is a pomeranian. I also have a 2 acre tract that would be good for someone traveling with horses or large animals. Someday I would like this tract to have a therapy horse for handicapped.
Our host is a real gratious sincere southern gentleman. The land we parked on is surrounded by very tall old trees. Beautiful place to share stories. This is a place you will want to stay awhile. Short drives to many plantations. 45 mins into New Orleans to see the sights and come back for a quiet evening.
Thank you Boondocker Bella Terre. We will come back.
