Yes we have several dogs and a few cows but only the dogs travel with us 🙂

Had the pleasure of hosting "Peteham" for a few days at "Over Our Heads" near Savannah Tennessee. They were friendly, respectful, and kind. They left the property better than when they arrived. We'd be happy to host them again, anytime!
Super hosts! Very accommodating. We got along great with these guys, sharing information on traveling. Love the cows too!
Great open field with water, 30/50A and even a dump! If you have a couple long power cords and hose you could potentially park next to sewer even and have full hook ups! Pete was very welcoming in helping us park. Overall just very kind and friendly. We loved seeing the cows roaming around. About an hour to legoland and crystal river which we did both.
Peteham was a great host. Very friendly and helpful.
Would love to stay with him again in the future.
Thanks for everything, Peteham
Great stay in Pete’s pasture among his 5 cows.
Host was very accommodating and helpful.
Really enjoyed the Picknick bench to work on the laptop in the January Florida sun.
Where else can you be photobombed in your videoconference by a cow!
Thank you for being a gracious Boondockers Welcome host.
We enjoyed our stay at Pete’s Pasture. We had access to 50 -amp service and water and there is a place to dump on your way out. Our dog and cat especially enjoyed watching the cows roam around. Overall a great quiet place to stay.
We just stayed for a short stopover and it was kind of chilly so we spent the majority of the time in the RV but peteham made sure we had everything we needed. Super nice guy and a great place.
Really enjoyed our stay. Host was quiet yet available and close :) but not too close :) great place to stay!
Stayed for a couple of nights and enjoyed watching the cows. Appreciated the hookup to power and water and also the ability to dump before we left. It was just what we needed. Thanks Pete's Peteham!
Stayed in a small pasture which was shared with a few cows. Full hookups were amazing, love a long shower. And they had a dump station on site. Lovely couple. My dog did not like the cows, so he had to be leashed.
Great location, great hosts. Stayed 2 nights. We chose to stay out in the pasty, but the location with power is level and easy to get to. Will definitely stop again when we are in the area!
We spent a beautiful Christmas morning enjoying the cows and visiting with another boondockers welcome couple that were staying on the property as well. We did not get to visit with the host as it was Christmas and busy busy with family. We love this location and will definitely love to come back again. Thank you for your hospitality we really appreciate it.
Pete's pasture had a lot of value for those who travel through Florida. The gates worked well, the hookups were plentiful, the host checked us in and showed us the ropes, there was fire wood, a picnic table that we used and a longhorn cow kept watch. It was a two night stopover that we enjoyed. Thank you Pete.
Nice quiet field. Even the cow’s were quiet! Thanks again! Would stay here again.
Host accommodating our arrival after dark, good and quiet stay in cow pasture.
What a wonderful spot. We loved being in the pasture with the cows and our host offers so many amenities! It is an easy and pleasant place to stop. We thank them for their hospitality.
We only stayed a short time but really enjoyed our time on Pete's pasture. He was very understanding with our unexpected late arrival and was very helpful with making sure we got into the property and set up okay. We loved waking up to the friendly cows on the property and wish we hadn't have had to leave so early in the morning. We hope to visit again when we have time to chat and hang out with the cows.
The only real issue that we have has at Pete's Pasture is that we have not had enough time to stay longer!
The host are some of the nicest people you will ever meet and boy have they made is this place a boondockers dream. 5 acres to chose a spot you like, 50/30/15 amp power, water, sewer, fire pit, trash bin, your own separate gate to come and go as you please, and the hospitality of two amazing people! We had the privilege to make a meal for our host and it was a delight to sit out by the campfire and enjoy the great company and ambiance of the country.
The host had told me that some people have canceled their stay at Pete's Pasture because they are worried about the cows. That is a shame because you are missing out on a beautiful stay with wonderful people and the cows never bothered us at all in our two stays over a week in total. Just watch out for a few cow pies and your good.
We would like to thank you both and I would like to apologize for being a little under the weather when we left but we will be back to see you both as soon as we can. Safe travels and keep stepping into your dreams. Thank you
Enjoyed our time in the country with the cows outside our RV! Didn’t cross paths much with the hosts, but greatly appreciated their hospitality and generosity! Quick communication with any questions we had. Thank you!
Pete and his wife are the nicest people you could ever meet on the road. The property is very accommodating, especially for a big rig like our bus and we loved sharing space with the cows on the pasture who are part of the family. We were able to plug in and have a nice fire in the evenings. The hosts could not have been more hospitable and we enjoyed talking with them. Thanks guys for a great stay!
We had a lovely stay here. Very nice friendly owners. We highly recommend a stop here. Thanks again!
Host let us land even though they were out and about that afternoon and checked on us in the morning to make sure we got set up ok. Had a great chat. Nice big pasture with friendly yet cautious cows.
Thank you Petes pasture!
This was our very first BW visit and we had no idea what to expect. Our host ( I do not want to say names for there security) were amazing. First we had truck problems on the way there and had to stop to get it fixed, we called and asked our host if we would be able to come for the second of the two days we requested. They where very understanding and happy to oblige but warned us that they had cows in the 5 acres of land that we would be on. This was no bother to us. Then we arrived and was welcomed by our host as we pulled up with gate open. Our host gave us our pick of anywhere we wanted to go, then offered us power, water, sewer! What this is crazy, we have been to RV parks that we paid for that were so gracious. Our host left us alone so we could get set up and get comfortable but we invited them over to our home and it was a blast. The night was very quite, in fact it was so quite you could hear a dogs bark from miles away. It was almost two quite for us and even with how quite it was, they let us run our quite generator so we could use the AC to knock the heat off the 5er.
Peteham has a well put together home build solar system and I am a solar newby. I asked him for advice and he took me over and showed me it all. If you are interested in solar and if he has time, I recommend asking him for advice as he has thought of things that I would never had.
After all that our host even offered for us to stay longer if we wanted AND WE WANTED TOO! But sadly we have doctors appointments we had too make but my wife and I asked if we could come back again because my wife I really want to BBQ with them.
We came for a short place to stay, we got way more then could have dreamed of and left with life long friends!
The cows never even bothered us one bit.
11 out of 10 stares for these host! Great people and great stay.
We can't wait to come back
Warm, welcoming and accommodating hosts! Our hosts greeted us with a warm welcome on arrival, offered our choice of any area in their 5 acre green pasture and immediately mowed us a spot while we were unhooking our tow vehicle. We picked a spot very close to the watering tank for the 3 cows and calf which naturally made for many close encounters, but the frequent interaction was harmless and added entertainment to our stay. Free Wifi and a standard 15 amp outlet were a nice bonus graciously offered. At the end of our 3 day-stay, we were offered a dump station and fresh water refill near the house, which was a very nice surprise bonus that we accepted. Our host had a few boat and RV projects we got to see, including an impressive home-built 400A-Hr Lithium Iron Phosphate battery he had installed with a 3 panel solar system on his motorhome.
