I enjoy spending time with friends and family, but also enjoying spending quite time alone.
Some of my hobbies are hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities.
I belong to several clubs, for i.e a book club, dinner club, several women's and other rving groups, and a board and card games group.
No.
I wouldn't call the following favorites, but I have boondocked overnight in a Flying J parking lot, Walmart parking lot and a few Rest Area parking lots.
From Lafayette, Louisiana, but currently living in Butte La Rose since 1995.

Host was very nice. We could only see bayou out the door of our trailer but we were parked in her side yard in a small subdivision. Very quiet except owls and other birds.
Beautiful, peaceful stop and a very kind host. We enjoyed our stay and will happily visit again sometime. Lotsa lizards for the kids to watch :) Thank you for your generosity!
Super quiet location. Been there twice. Will stop again if I’m passing through
C is the best and her place is perfect! Quiet country living makes for a relaxing stop. We loved hearing the abundant nightlife and visiting with our host. A memorable stay!
We loved our stay. Very easy to get in and out and very welcoming.
I loved all the noises at night next to the swamp. It was so Awesome! The host was wonderful and very accommodating! Thank you for having us.
Lovely spot and host. The symphony of sounds from the water is not to be missed. Beautiful sunset, and super sweet host.
Really happy host. Will try to stay longer next time on my way back west😁
Our host couldn’t have been more welcoming and although we only got to chat a little while you could immediately see how generous C is by sharing her home!
I slept with my window slightly open last night listening to a steady and often heavy rain until very early morning. But almost drowning out the sound of rain was a melodic cacophony of frogs all through the night from the nearby pond. Very restful!
Hope to come by again! Thank you so much!
Our host was friendly and helpful. Her home is on a quiet corner surrounded by nature. What a beautiful location! We would definitely stop here again.
The host was super nice and accommodating. Easy access off the highway. Nice level back in site. Would love to stay again sometime.
We had a wonderful and quick stop over here last night, our host was welcoming and had the lights turned on for us. I was amazed at how quiet and peaceful it was!
Thanks!!
Such a lovely, relaxing stay. Beautiful place. Kind host, she recommended a few nearby places to eat that were delicious. We maintained social distance and wore a mask as i usually do because of the pandemic. I’d stay here again in a heart beat!
I had a special stay in bayou country ! Enjoyed staying at Patin’s in the Butte. Got to spend the evening getting to know my host. Having been born in New Orleans, it was a true coming home feeling. I couldn’t have chosen a better place to park for the night before heading on to Mandeville to visit with family. Thanks C. PatinJones! Make sure you call when you decide to come to Montana!

This was the most Superb Host! We were greeted & welcomed, given area sites to take in, and places to shop to pick up the supplies we needed. We did have some time to sit and chat on her beautiful deck with the fan going, because it is really hot hot hot here! That was the best part. Our hope in staying is getting to know our host & making some friends along they way, we can surely say that we did just that. This little spot in the Louisiana bayou country is a gem & the host is a lifelong native of this area! We hope to return again. You are welcome to visit Austin anytime to see us, though we can’t host you, we can meet up somewhere!
This Host was truly one of the very best we have seen with thru out all our travels ! Very cordial and accommodating and went way beyond the call of duty. It was a real pleasure prior and during our stay regarding messaging and overall communication. My wife and I had wonderful visits during morning coffee and this host had great suggestions for site seeing and dining. She allowed plenty of privacy however, we enjoyed every minute of time visiting and it was great to hear about her past and future travels. Words will never express how impressed Host was as a person with a huge heart as well as her concern with our comfort. I could go on and on. She was absolutely a " Super " SuperHost. Many Many thanks and blessings to this awesome lady !!
Cpatinjones is an absolutely lovely hostess. She welcomed us in, despite a global pandemic. We encountered nothing but true cajun hospitality. It started when she gave us a printed resource list, upon arrival. We were even offered an extra night, if we needed it. There was plenty of room on her property for both our 30 foot rv and tow vehicle.
There is a lovely fresh water swamp bordering the property, complete with all the critters you would expect, including gators, ducks, turtles, frogs, and birds. Come evening, watch out for mosquitos!
This property is in the heart of cajun country in the Atchafalaya National Heritage Area and Wildlife Refuge. While visiting, we took advantage of enjoying some awesome local attractions, including Kliebert and Sons Gator Tour. T Mike rocked it! We also visited Avery Island and toured the Tabasco Plant as well as Jungle Gardens. Both of these locations, as well as New Orleans are within 2 hours of this location. It is a great home base for seeing Southern Louisiana and taking in the culture.
Don't forget to enjoy a crawfish boil (pronounced Crawfish Ball). Remember to suck the heads!

I have nothing but nice thing to say about this host. She was quick to respond to questions about her location and when her location got booked by someone else when we didn’t put in our dates soon enough, she notified us in advance that they had canceled if we were still interested. We then came in a day early as it was going to work better for her schedule. Then when we got there and had some A/C issues and had to leave early the next day to get it repaired, she was completely supportive of us coming back or making our further down the road.
We opted for leaving since we were already 25 miles further down the road.
We will very much look forward to a return to her special place in the bayou!!
Very quiet and pleasant place nice to talk with our host. Kin and welcoming. We love to go back again. Merci pour ton hospitalité.
