Hello! I am a 38yo Social Worker who works with young people experiencing homelessness. My wife is a lawyer (and reads all day.) We are currently in the process of moving to Chicago for her new job, but before we are taking a 6-week road trip. We are from Michigan and are an avid outdoor / camping family. We are however new to the RV scene. We are incredibly respectful of other's time and space, and will leave your property as we found it! We are more than happy to answer questions, and be as helpful as possible. Thank you for your time!
I am not exactly sure what to list here, but I will say we are both young, healthy, and willing to help with anything any time.
We have a 5 year old German Shepherd / Boxer mix named Brimley. He lives for the outdoors, and is a very well behaved / socialized dog. We've had Brimley since he was 6 weeks, and he is very accustomed to camping and travel. He is quiet 99% of the time, with the exception being anything that would normally alarm a German Shp. (knocks at the door etc). We are very conscious dog owners, and ensure all clean up, being leashed when necessary. He is also an ankle-clinger who does not roam. :)
We also have two 11yo cats named George and Nina. They will be in the RV 99% of the time (as cats do.) If it wasn't for them we would be traveling in something MUCH smaller. We definitely accommodate these spoiled kids.
I am from Lansing, MI and Alex is from Flint, MI. We both attended UM and have lived in Ann Arbor for the last decade.
1997 Shasta Cheyenne 280, Gas V10 Triton engine, Auto transmission, water hose, stabilizing jacks.
Very nice younger couple on first long RV trip.
Enjoyed them very much..
Great to work with. Welcome to return anytime.
Didn’t get to talk much because they came after dark, but they are certainly welcome back anytime!
