We live in beautiful Door County Wisconsin. We love to travel to see and learn about other parts of the country. We are especially interested in history and are on a mission to see every National Park in the country.
B enjoys woodworking and landscaping. Did Economic Development work prior to retirement. Loves to study American history, especially the Civil War.
C retired from a career in software and IT systems. Enjoys gardening, food prep, and most of all, our grandchildren. Loves to study history and cultures.
We live Sturgeon Bay, Door County Wisconsin.

They are out to visit every National Park in the system. When Visiting they were off to Joshua Tree NP. Great Couple from the Great State of Wisconsin. Wish them all the best. and Invite them back anytime they are in the area.
I thoroughly enjoyed hosting B+Cchaudoir. I wished they could have stayed longer but the trail was calling... I know the feeling.
We had a great stay with the Hosts and a great time exploring Door County. From the start, our Hosts greeted us and made us feel like special guests. C had even gone to the visitor’s center to pick up brochures to help us orient.
When time allowed, we enjoyed our conversations with the Hosts which included a campfire one night, morning coffee and an evening social (until the bugs came to join us).
And a bonus… We hit the garden harvest and enjoying C’s fresh vegetables that taste like real vegetables.
We sincerely hope to meet up out West.
B+C are the most welcoming couple, I sat and chatted with them for over an hour. They were offering all kinds of help and attention. Very kind and very interesting and seemed genuinely interested in me and my travels, offering suggestions on what to see next, so very glad I got to meet them.
They have a wonderful place, very peaceful and immaculate landscaping. The parking area is wide and plenty long long and completely level.
And all just a stone’s throw from the bay, I would highly recommend staying there.
Very nice couple and the accommodations were great. We had plenty of room. We enjoyed our stay and visit with our hosts. We would gladly like to stay there again.
Wow, our first experience with boondockers and it was amazing such an incredible host and they gave us fresh raspberries. The parking was on point super easy to access, we even put our awning out and BBQ. They have the lake super close so we could hear the gooses in the morning and the sound of the wind hitting thw trees, it was a beautiful way to wake up.
Thank you so much for letting us stay. This spot is 100% perfect.
This place was very quiet and very peaceful. A short walk to the lake. Even in the rain, we enjoyed staying here. Upon arrival, Mrs. had books available for us. Suggestions as where to eat. Very helpful. We were only here for the night and I would definitely stay here again, maybe be able to explore some of the paths that we noticed on the property. We truly liked this stay and the area.
Our stay at B+Cchaudoir couldn't have been better. Level pad, water and electric, secluded spot, and perfect fall weather. Our host were pleasant and engaging so we were able to visit with them a number of times. Their suggestions on places to see in the area enabled us to see things we would have missed. We're already planning a return trip to the area with hopes of staying there again. Oh, and the fresh veggies from the garden were greatly appreciated !
Very nice hosts and a great place to stay. The maritime Museum is wonderful and a nice walk into town.
Bill and Cheri were the most gracious of hosts. They both greeted us on our first nights stay with homemade cookies and fresh vegetables from their garden. Delicious! The site for our trailer was alongside their beautiful home and wonderful landscape, just a block from a sunset complete with turtles and pelicans! The location was perfect for discovering all that Door County has to offer. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay "under the oak tree" • Now i get it. The site comes with 30 amp.
We enjoyed visiting with our hosts. Nice folks! The park near bye was beautiful overlooking the bay at sunset. This place is 5 stars. Oh, forgot to mention we were given literature on local attractions too. Doesn't get any better than this.
Really had a great stay under the oak and biking and dining in Sturgeon Bay! Lovely people, they are. We shall return, we hope.
Delightful hosts and a gorgeous M property close to so many things to see and do. So glad we stopped!
