We are still new to RV’ing. We bought ou rig in 2017. We own a 2000 Winnebago Journey Class A diesel pusher. We have been to 46 states by car and tent and a few islands and overseas countries. I am home after a 21 yr career in retail and waiting for my husband to retire again (retired Navy Vet) before we go full time.
We do most of our vehicle and home repairs ourselves.
I like to do cake decorating.
We have a 3 1/2 yr old lab mix rescue named Reza. He is a sweetheart who loves to run and fetch and play with other dogs.
The extent of our boondocking had been driveway surfing at our daughter’s in Florida, but finally got to Quartzite, AZ in Jan. 2021. We enjoyed that experience.
We are originally from the Bronx, NY. We moved here to Saucier,Ms to be closer to our son, his wife and granddaughters and for my husbands job. Luckily my job allowed me to transfer.
We have a 2000 Winnebago Journey Class A diesel pusher. We tow a 2019 Jeep Wrangler JL 4 door.
Where do I start? We made a mistake on our initial request on dates and realized without much notice and they graciously allowed us to stay though they were not home to greet us.
Sure, the spot is level, and easy to back into; even in the dark. Also, it is a nice neighborhood to walk around, ride your bike and get a quiet night sleep but the hosts make this spot.
G&M shared so many lovely stories, advice and experiences with us it is easy to become fast friends. We enjoyed pizza at the beach, s'mores under the stars and even a dinner before saying our goodbyes.
We will cherish the time and memories we created. Thank you Rambling Rovers!
This was my second visit with these hosts and although the first visit was wonderful, this visit was even better. The hosts welcomed me as if I was a family member. I enjoyed spending time with them and I consider them friends. I look forward to our future meetings. So grateful for these kind Hosts.
I had a great experience with these hosts. They went out of their way to provide me with everything I needed and more. We took walks with their sweet dog, had interesting conversations and shared a meal. I was Lucky to find this location during this difficult time. The lakeside location is serene and the hosts were fun folks, very enjoyable and so welcoming. I would definitely recommend this location and hope to return soon.
Monob58 was a great help in getting us situated. She gave us suggestions for places to eat and things to do. We were also able to hook up to her electric which was a great help. I would recommend this place.
We were well taken care of at this stop. Our Hosts were great.
Thank YOU for all your care and attention to our needs.
