Originally from Rhode Island, Donna moved to Vermont years ago then back to RI to live on a sailboat for 9 years, then back to Vermont. John, born in New Zealand, was raised in RI where he and Donna met, and dated a few times, in high school. John then moved to Australia and has been there for 40 years, circumnavigating the continent, and Tasmania, numerous times in his off-road caravan. Donna went on with her life raising a family. 43 years after graduation they reaquainted again and have been traveling together ever since. We're early retirees, and newly engaged full timers with travel trailers in both countries so we can come and go whenever the breeze takes us. There's so many places that we haven't seen yet and we have no plans on stopping until we can't go any further. What a great life we lead!
John - Over 40 years in IT software knowledge
Donna - 25 years in the baking and catering industry. 10; years food writing.
No pets of our own but we do like them!
We do a LOT of off-road camping in Australia. We love National Parks, and because we are self sufficient, we can camp in the middle of beautiful nowhere places, or in a field or the woods, or within driving distance to explore local attractions. Looking forward to meeting other boondockers in the USA on our two year road trip here.
Donna - New Haven Vermont John - Perth, WA, Australia We're always traveling somewhere, whether it's with the RV or AirBnbs in Iceland, Canada, or a beach resort in Thailand.

We really enjoyed meeting these folks. They have an interesting background and are very pleasant. No problems at all, and we would be happy to host them again.
cruisingkity and her mate were no bother, no worries, no stress. Hardly knew they were around. Wishing them safe travels during these trying times.
Glad you enjoyed your stay. Sorry I couldn’t meet you. Maybe you can return when I can be there. Safe travels.
Had a great visit from cruising kitty and her fellow. Good communication, very nice folks. They would be welcome back anytime!
Even with the virus running amuck, we had a very enjoyable visit with these guys. They were great guest, very respectful of rules, and a true pleasure to get to know. We hope they make it home safely for their appointment, and look forward to the day they come back when we can socialize more!
Glad we were able to share some time & conversation.
Beautiful afternoon & nice chat.
Maybe they'll find their way here again one day.
We'd be pleased to host them.
cruisingkitty stayed on one of my RV sites for 5 days. The mister being a former IT man set up my WiFi router extender for better service. I found them to be friendly, appreciative folks. They are welcome back any time.
This couple has returned & will always be welcome back to our farm.
enjoyed hosting cruisingkitty great conversation around the campfire welcome back anytime
Glad to have a spot that was a welcome relief from some of the Corona closures and travel limitations. Kept our social distance while still enjoying the sharing and company of the other guests and hosts.
Travel safe. Stay healthy. Welcome back under better situations.
Cruisigkitty stayed 3 days on one of my RV sites. My WiFi signal at my RV sites was very week so I bought the best extender I could find. I attempted to install it but gave up. Jxxx volunteered to assist. Having been an IT man he was able to figure out the requirements so that I now have good WiFi signal for future Boondockerswelcome guests. Crushing kitty is welcome to return whenever they wish.
Enjoyed meeting these lovely people & hearing about their love story that has extended over the decades.
Welcome back any time.
