We are Les and Kerry. Retired March 2019 and heading out for the first time as full-timers to explore this great land.
We leave, somewhat reluctantly the Pacific Northwest (Seattle) where we've lived and worked since 2011. We had previously lived in Houston Texas, but a job opportunity offered the not-to-be-missed chance to leave that behind and begin anew in the PNW.
My 32 years in the airline industry had allowed us to travel on some wonderful and memorable trips around the world. Sadly, those trips all had one thing in common...an end date where we had to come back home and go back to work.
Well no longer!
You full-timers and retirees know what I'm talking about.
In November 2018 we bought, at what must have been the deal of the century a pre-owned 2012 Newmar Ventana 3433 diesel pusher. 35 feet of not camping in a tent.
Her name is Lucky, for oh so many reasons. We tow our car (his name is Max) a 2018 Ford C-Max hybrid. And yes, Max is rated for flat towing.
We are foodies, both very adept at cooking so we are always on the lookout for the next great recipe. Especially if it's "RV Friendly". We also enjoy an icy chilled martini from time to time, or pretty much anything else that's put in front of us. I hear there are some great regional cocktails. Must check on that.
So, Kerry, myself, Lucky and Max begin our next big adventure. Seeing America and all she has to offer. We welcome you to follow along, check in with us, provide tips and advice and maybe even meet up on occasion!
Cooking, blogging, fly fishing, sampling craft beer, a little HAM radio.
No at this time
Pretty much anywhere, but if you have to pin us down then anywhere in the Pacific Northwest
Still looking for the perfect "hometown"
