Hi there. I'm a soon to be 65 year old single male, just started traveling full time with a toyhauler trailer so I have a motorcycle to ride around. No set agenda other than to travel the many beautiful places our country has to offer. I enjoy a healthy lifestyle, which includes a tasty brew on occasion; enjoy cooking, hiking, some reading (hoping to do more of that). Prior to traveling full time I enjoyed working out 3-4x per week, playing tennis and sometimes pickleball. Army brat growing up; born in Panama and have lived from the east coast to the west and 4 years in Germany. Respectful, quirky sense of humor. Enjoy meeting people from all cultures, backgrounds and experiences.
Wow. Skills? Expertise?
From an RV perspective I'm still a newbie, so no skills or expertise in that department. I have a degree in Forestry and worked in the forest products industry for 28 years, so I know a little about growing things. I'm also a writer of sorts as I worked in public affairs/media relations for several years.
Fairly handy with tools, problem solving.
Dog lover, but no pets for now. Once settled there will most likely be a dog in my life!
Have only boondocked a few times, but looking forward to many more. Stayed at Cobb Campground on the Osceola NF in Florida. Loved camping in the Pines with little noise, no amenities AND met some very nice people.
I KNOW I will be spending much time out west, CO, MT, UT, ID, WA, as I have been here before. Looking forward to having the time to fully explore and truly enjoy those areas of most interest.
I call Richmond, VA home. Lived there the last 15 years, but when I retired I sold the house and put some minor things in storage. Family is in VA and one brother in NC.
Green F-250 Crew Cab pulling a 2019 ATC Toyhauler trailer. These trailers are all aluminum, lightweight and utilitarian (no wood), so no concerns with rotting wood, etc...
We enjoyed hosting Slim55 for 2 nights. He was a quiet and polite guest.
We shared pleasant conversations in the evening about travel, and we would gladly host him in the future.
Very nice man. Had a good but short conversation. Great to have had him with us and will welcome him any time.
We wish you well on your full time RVing experience. Enjoyed visiting with you and hearing of your plans.
