Our family (myself, Jacqué, husband Alex, son Izaak and daughter Elly) is on an RV Adventure, living working and schooling full time in our RV. We have traveled across the country from Portland Oregon to Portland Maine, down the east coast and back across the country through Louisiana, Texas, Arizona and California, then back up to Oregon. We are sticking close to the Northwest for the time being because of aging parents (my Dad, his Mom).
I am a virtual "office manager" so-to-speak. My husband is a bit of a lay expert on all aspects of mobile interneting.
We travel with two pets. Blinker the Mighty Hunter RV Cat. He pretty much hates travel days, but enjoys exploring most of the new areas we encounter (some locations are not appropriate for him to be outside, and some locations he doesn't LIKE to be outside). Last year we adopted Hunny, a rescue puppy who has wormed her way into our hearts. We are working with her to heal the anxiety of her young life so she can show the world the happy go lucky personality that we know and love. We are "poopy picker upper" puppy owners and always keep her on a leash.
We have had AMAZING boondocking experiences in Montana, Arizona and Texas. We spent a week on the Yellowstone river in Montana our first summer on the road and it was just stunning (our profile pic was taken here!). We spent a week in the desert boondocking with some other Fulltime Families in the winter and it was so so cool for our kids to be able to experience the desert at night and hiking and finding petroglyps and saguaro cacti. But my favorite favorite FAVORITE boondocking experience was driving our 35k Class A diesel pusher RV right out on the beach in southern Texas on the Gulf of Mexico. We only were able to stay for three days, but it is indescribable how amazing it was to have the ocean mere feet from our front door. We definitely want to do this again!
We hale most recently from Portland Oregon but consider ourselves "Northwesterners" We both grew up much of our lives in North Idaho, but have also lived in Washington and California. We are members of Thousand Trails RV Resorts so we spend a lot of time traveling between various TT locations.
We have a 1998 National TradeWinds diesel "pusher". We don't tow our "toad" but I listed it as we will have it with us wherever we go.
So enjoyed meeting LadyAjax family,
They were a pleasure to have over at our Happy Hill, they were quite, respectful of our property, the pets were on leash and well behaved and they are welcome back anytime.
