I am the owner of MoonBeam Farm, which is the location where guests will have the opportunity to stay. The farm is also our home. MoonBeam Farm is a 10-acre organic farm specializing in both culinary and oil production lavender, as well as organic heirloom self-sustained loofah sponges. We offer free tours, hands-on harvest experience opportunities, classes (both scheduled through our FaceBook Site and private bookings for 2 or more) as well as sales of all our products in our Country Store here on the farm.
If you are over 36', it is a tight turn through the gate from the South. Call ahead if your rig is longer for instructions to enter and park.
Since we are an organic farm, ALL PETS must be on a LEASH and outside generators are to be placed on a leakproof surface to prevent possible seepage into the soil.
We have a shaded area for rigs that are 12 feet or less in height. This spot is on a first come first serve basis.
Contact the Host at 530-321-4792 phone for information and reservations. DO NOT CALL PAST 7PM PST Please DO NOT use any other form of reaching out to us (FB Messenger, Email, Etsy Communication, Website Contact us page, etc).
Group tours are available after 4pm. The store is open, but guests must wear a mask. Plus if you check out our FaceBook page, we have fun classes available to join or if you see something that interests you private classes can be booked for 2 or more guests.
We have space for up to 6 rigs (dependent on size). Hookups are not available. We do have one shade covered spot that can accommodate a rig up to 12 feet high. It is on a first come first serve basis. All of the products in our store are either grown, processed, made etc on site here in Corning CA.
I am a former Chartered Accountant and Auditor. My farm is my passion and I love sharing all we do here with guests.
I have my wonderful loving family dogs. Jasper Nash (my love bug) is half Great Dane and Pit, Bailey my crazy Rat Terrier and finally my old little man, Perseus. He's a 19 year old Chug (half pug and Chihauhau). Love my boys like crazy, they make me smile and laugh each and every day.
My favorite memories are camping out in the northern corner of our beautiful state by Alturas out on BLM or near BLM lands.
My hometown and the location of our farm, is in Corning California. Our area is best known for olives (Bell Carter one of the largest processing and canning plants is here), Almonds and Walnuts. So we get to be different with our organic Lavender (8 varieties including culinary and oil and bud production) and our organic and heirloom Loofah Sponges. And yes they grow and are fun to show off to our guests!!!
This was my second time staying here and the parking/camping area is much larger this year. There were 5 of us all spread out and it felt very private. The host is very friendly and offered a tour and opened up the shop in the evening for guests. Gotta love lavender and loofahs!
This was my first stay with a BW host and I am so grateful and impressed. My host was welcoming and gracious. The tour of the farm was informative and interesting. I highly recommend Moonbeam Farm.
2nd time here, pleasant as usual, larger level parking area this year with room for plenty of rigs, this time five of us, with yards of spacing (30-40 or so) between each of us. Host was great offered Farm tour in evening, opened up shop afterward for selection of Great products.
The owner was so generous with her time and took us on a tour. We decided to do a video for our YouTube channel as this is a great place for RVers to park and people to purchase amazing products.
Our third stay at location traveling between Oregon and Arizona. Restful and quiet. The hosts are wonderful and have a great shop for their lavender and loofa products. Would recommend as a relaxing stay and take the tour of the farm.
We enjoyed our stay at moonbeam farm! The tour was so informative and our children slept so well after smelling all of the beautiful lavender. We just happened to have recently run out of our lavender essential oil too and were able to restock. Perfect!
Nice convenient place right off I-5 to spend a night or two. The owner is a wonderful host who taught me l lot about loufas and lavender. The fragrances are amazing.
What a lovely little farm with lots of space and perfectly level areas. During the day we had excellent WiFi. I was excited to see how loofahs grow. There were at least two other groups during our 2 day stay, but we were so far apart it was like being alone.
Thank you for letting us stay at your farm! We had a wonderful time visiting your farm and buying things from your store! Very quiet place. Easy to get to in and out from. Rv gas station very close by.
We had a great overnight stay at Moon beam Farm. Lots of room to park. Peaceful night of sleep. Only challenge was getting through the entry gate with our 40ft motor home but it is doable. Hope to stay here again.
Such a calming comfortable place to stay! Very fun to hear nature at play at night! Very safe place to stay as well, we slept with our windows open all night and slept amazingly! Highly recommend staying here, I would have loved to have shopped in the store, we left before it opened. The lavender fields smelled amazing! Thank you for having us!
Our second stay with Moonbeam Farm.
Wonderful hosts and a very relaxing location. On road home so spent most time relaxing and sleeping. When stay here make sure to do tour, very interesting and fun (we did no first visit)
A real treat.
We didn't get to meet our host but the spot was great. The space was large and level.
Unfortunately we did not actually get to stay here due to some issues on the road (our first trailer tire blow out), but this host was quick to respond and happy to accommodate a very last-minute stay if needed. They seem very nice and they're more than willing to help out. I will definitely look this one up when coming through the area again.
This was our first experience and everything was great!
The host was clear , friendly and honest about the place, so you will need AC for sure because there is no shade and it's summer. There is a river 7min from there so you can spend the day .
My stay at Moon Beam Farm was relaxing, and enough space for all types of rigs. It was also informative! I learned about the different types of lavender species and what they are specific for. Be sure to check out and support their farm store which is stocked with organic botanical products.
We stayed at Moonbeam farms on our track north. We had a wonderful stay! The farm tour is excellent; I really enjoyed learning all about the beautiful farm and selection of products at the store. We would definitely stay here if ever in the area again. It can get hot here so have a generator if possible.
Moon Beam Farms is a good place just off I-5. We were there when the lavender was just beginning to bud but it was still nice. Quiet. The lavender and other products they offer were very nice. I picked up several Christmas presents for friends and family. We look forward to staying there again. The only thing to be aware of is the parking area has stickers so pets may have a hard time.
6 wide open spots. A lot of great products for sale. Beautiful working farm have to be considerate of high risk fire area. No open flames for everyones safety. Parking is on gravel n dirt but is level. They are working on more grading and making more spots to park.
Great host, nice property, close to freeway but no traffic noise. Thank you so much!
Lovely little farm, friendly hosts, lots of room to park, pretty night skies, and a store with lovely lavender goodies! Really pleasant(: thank you moonbeam farm!
Wonderful host! I was intrigued by the loofah and truly enjoyed learning how they grow and harvest them!
We enjoyed our stay! We learned a lot of interesting information about lavender and loofah and were able to buy some lavender products to take home with us.
A fantastic host! The host was very welcoming even though we arrived earlier than we expected. The tour was very hands on and extremely informative. The parking area was spacious and flat. Plenty of room to walk our dog. A quiet, peaceful night. Maybe it was the lavender! 😃 I especially enjoyed learning about and purchasing her products. The loofah was intriguing!
We felt very welcome.
We had a quick overnight stop. The local town had a good laundromat, grocery store, and some fast food. The host was very friendly and the parking area was spacious.
Second Boondockers stay. Host was very nice.. quiet and nice quick overnight.
This is our first Boondockers visit.
What wonderful hosts. We were running late due to underestimating Pass and traffic. I called to let them know and the hosts were understanding, called to stay in touch, and arranged for us to get in and set up.
It is such a pleasant, peaceful location. And get here early enough the check out the Country store!
thank you Moonbeam Farm
My host communicated with me very well so I knew exactly what to expect when I arrived. The site was level and easy to swing into with my pickup and 25 foot trailer. She gave me a tour of the farm operation when it was convenient. The site is close to the freeway, but far enough so there was no traffic noise. I had a great stay!
We had a lovely stay at Moonbeam while traveling from S. CA to Seattle. Nice, big level area to park our 25 foot TT. Their Country Store had lots of nice products and I was able to purchase some gifts, even though they weren't technically open on a Monday. Thank you, Moonbeam, for being Harvest Host & Boondockers Welcome hosts!
Caz was just an incredible hostess. Had our scheduled allowed we would have loved to spend another day here on this amazing farm.
Michael and Anne
We had a great one-night stay at MoonBeamFarm. Caz gave us a great educational tour shortly after our arrival. We enjoyed learning about the lavender and the loofah growing and processing processes. Friendly host and some great products in the store too!
One of the most thoughtful kind and altruistic people I have met. Truly a gem🎁 Knowledgeable and very passionate about her endeavor here. Excellent teacher and gives great tours. Very impressed with her products as well🙏
MoonBeam Farm is a great location right off I5. Caz is friendly and generous with her time. She gave me a tour of the farm and explained their process. Couldn’t leave without purchasing something that smelled awesome!
Moonbeam Farm is a lovely, quiet stop convenient to I5. Easy parking (we travel in a Sprinter with a toad) and turn around. Much appreciated!
The gave a tour of the business, very educational.
Nice level spot for the rig.
The farm was easy to get to off the highway with plenty of level ground to maneuver. Caz was helpful in adjusting our dates so we could stay two nights. Her tour was very interesting. We left with lavender sugar cookies and loofah seeds our 7 year old is determined to grow in Ohio.
We overnighted at MoonBeam Farm and received the full tour of lavender and loofah operations from host. Nice Country Store for gifts based on the farm's lavender and loofah harvest. This was the most unique stay we've done through Boondockers Welcome and well worth a visit.
Nice place to stop by passing thru Corning CA, especially interesting is knowledgeable and informative Host who willingly offered organic production Farm tour.
We learned so much at Moonbeam Farm. The little country store has everything they make from the organically grown lavender as well as loofahs and we couldn’t help but buy gifts for family. They even have an online Etsy store to find all their goodies. Nice flat parking and We slept like babies in this quiet spot. We’ll definitely be back.
Was greeted with a comp tour of the loofah farm - even got to pick my own and have some soaps/gifts make out of them!
Hostess was very helpful in spite of family health issues and our late arrival (due to fires in Oregon).
Very nice large parking area next to lavender and loofah plants.
Beautiful sunset over the fields. Lavender smell, no smoke from fires. Olive trees everywhere.
Late arrival and store closed the next morning did not allow us to patronize the business and chat with hostess.
Will stop next time passing through.
