I took a year leave of absence from my professional job in Minnesota, and my wife left her teaching position to travel the country for a year and homeschool our children. This has been my wife’s dream for over a decade.
I’m a “helper”. If someone needs help, I’m typically ready to jump in. As a jack of all trades, I’m capable in almost everything from construction or maintaining vehicles to more intellectual aspects. My wife, the elementary teacher, is great with kids. She loves figuring out how to organize and make life efficient.
We both enjoy helping people develop financial well-being through budgeting and planning.

We sold our house in Marshall MN in June 2019, and left our friends and family to experience and explore the USA while we learn all about our great country. We will return to Minnesota in June 2020.
Well cared for 2006 Ford F-350 XL (white, crew-cab, single rear wheels) diesel pickup towing a 2014 Keystone Hideout fifth wheel camper. The fifth wheel has two slides, one slide on each side. Total width of 13 1/2 feet when extended. My pickup came with a backup beeper that I have chosen to retain as the safety factor outweighs the potential annoyance.
Had a great time with these folks. Kids were awesome and served as great entertainment for my son. Great campfire conversations to be had for sure. Wish them a great finish to their adventure. Yall come back anytime
It was my pleasure to host the Youngsma family. Very polite and pleasant and kind people. Their children are beautiful and they are giving them experiences most people can only dream of. I will welcome them back anytime!
It was great meeting this family. My kids loved playing with their kids. They shared valuable information on RV traveling that we’ll be using on our upcoming trip. We would love to host them again.
