More to come
~ Laura - Welcome and pull up a seat. I moved to Amazing Arizona from Oregon via Colorado, I tend to be more of a scenic route taker. I am grateful to be a follower of Christ and am blessed to walk each day in his grace and love.
I prefer the homemade touch because it always includes love as an ingredient and in the harshness that reality can bring to a person's life- there is always room for love. I enjoy writing and encouraging others in their Christian walk as well as people I just happened to meet. I believe in valuing the person in front of me at each moment of each day so if there is a need- let's address it right now and move forward towards the goal that we are called to- to love one another. I enjoy cooking although with my recent health issues that have forced me to retire due to short term memory issues from a TBI- some times I can get overwhelmed though.
I am looking forward to learning how to make furniture, gardening and sewing. I would like to get back to painting again. My abilities have changed so I am in the midst of new discoveries.
I enjoy photography- but honestly- usually forget to take pictures, so not my second nature by any means. A good cup of coffee, clean air and good company is my favorite recipe by far.

I am former New Yorker who has been transplanted to Amazing Arizona, I am Christ follower who has worn many hats through the years include being a Fire Fighter / Emergency Medical Technician who also worked on the side as Professional Photographer; I am currently medically retired due to a brain tumor that was removed in 2015. I have a photojournalist style of shooting and have been taking pictures of people, places and things for since the mid-1980's for private individuals, corporations, media publications. To me my creativity is a Gift from God, it is one of my emotions, I am blessed to be able to capture what I am able to see. More importantly, I am able to share my gift and all the beauty to be seen in our wonderful world. It truly would not be possible it if it were not for God's Grace for me to be able to share it with you.
Thank you for stopping by and letting us be able to share some of us with you. Be Blessed.

They were tired and needed to relax and get rested, as did we, so not a lot of socializing.
They do have some interesting things going on that I want to hear more about. Their service dog is wonderful. They are welcome back and we are looking forward to boondocking on one of their locations.
Great property near the Grand Canyon. Would definitely come again.
Quiet and relaxing never needed our air conditioning on the weather was perfect and the host were wonderful.
This was the most amazing stay. We got in late, but the hosts were very accommodating and understanding which was such a blessing. We got to see the milkyway perfectly and we enjoyed a quiet night.
Unfortunately for us, we couldn't do the second night. My cellphone went out and I couldn't log in to boondockers to contact the hosts.
Take the speed suggestions seriously! The road was rough, but totally worth it! While this is close to the park the actual location was very remote and isolated. We had a wonderful nights sleep and our dogs all loved the property!
Great stay at Little Heavens Ranch! Very peaceful and quiet, great view of the mountains and at night we enjoyed the dark sky full of stars and the Milky Way! Host were very polite and gracious sharing their camp.
We had site #5; it was peaceful, relaxing, and quiet. Due to COVID, we had a contactless checking but spoke with the host while leaving for the Grand Canyon. He was sweet and told my kids they could take some beautiful red rocks near our campsite. The Grand Canyon is about 20 miles up the road which made it vaery convenient.
We spent one night there on the way to GCNP; it was super quiet, easy in and out. We have very low class C motorhome, hence we drove very slow to get there as instructed by the host and got there without any issue. We haven't had chance to see our hosts, but they had responded almost immediately to our 'last minute stay request' and accepted us without any hesitation. Thank you.
This was our first boondocking and MrnMrsZona where very helpful. We did try our best to communicate with them on our plans for our stay and things did change a bit which caused us to not abide by all the rules. We did feel nervous about leaving at 3 am to head to the Grand Canyon to catch the beautiful sunrise, but thought we were ok because in previous conversations with the host, they we could come and go as we pleased. We are sorry if we inconvenienced anyone, but we have already learned a lot.
They were very helpful with directions and being only 20 miles from the GCNP it was convenient and cut down on more travel time.
The owners were very communicative and friendly. The contactless checkin was seemless with very good directions. We had a quiet evening and was blessed with a fabulous sunset. Easy access to GCNP. We were up and out early to beat the crowds with no issues.
Thank you for a pleasant stay and hospitality.
What an amazing place! We spent two days there, super quiet, easy in and out. Thank you guys for having us, LHR is on our to go places now!
Wow! They should change the name to "Lots of Heaven"! You can't get any closer without dying! So the 2 roads are a little rough, it's worth it! The quiet of the desert, and the stars at night are Awesome! Camping/RV spots are spread out so you feel like your out on your own. Will definitely be back to get off the grid again!
Very nice place to camp. Close to the Grand Canyon National Park. Friendly and kind hosts. Level site, very quiet. We filled our water tank at the park, dumped at the 76 station by Williams. Nice area.
Friendly helpful hosts. Nice views, pet friendly. Places to walk.
Wonderful hosts that were gracious enough to share their piece of heaven with us!
The roads in are pretty rough, but no worse than others in the area! Deadly quiet, which I like. It is 🏜!
The host is very pleasant and responsive. The location is back a very rough dirt road and is under some construction. It is very quiet and dark at night (except for the full moon when we were there). It is in an open range so there is no protection from the wind (which was extreme during our visit) but it is great for solar and satallite (no obstructions).
We would stay again if the winds were reasonable and an acceptable boondocking site wasn't available in the national forest about 15 miles north.
We enjoyed our stay without any sound and a amazing dark sky stars. Wonderful hosts to create such a generous boondocking experience.
This spot was absolutely beautiful, so peaceful and very convenient to the grand canyon. The stars were unlike anything I have ever seen and the host were so nice. I will definitely staying again in the future.
This site is perfect for those who want to disconnect while still having the option to connect (great cell service for Verizon and others) and with the security of a private property.
The hosts are very kind, communicative, and generous with their space. The stars here are amazing and the distance from Grand Canyon is nothing. This is a high plateau like area and has high winds at times. Be sure to ask how you can situate your rig/tent/etc. so that you are facing downwind. This was not a problem at all and is more of a note for convenience.
We’re certainly coming back!
A great spot to check out the canyon! The hosts were incredibly kind and helped me out when my generator failed. It’s so peaceful! Just be prepared because town is 35 miles away!
From LHR you can for miles in all directions. The location was also perfect for visiting the Grand Canyon. Flagstaff and Sedona are very accessible from here. Nice trusting hosts. We would stay again while in the area.
The host was very communicative and helpful when describing how to get to his location. The views are beautiful and the spot was a wonderful base from which to visit the Grand Canyon. Thanks Little Heaven Ranch!
Little heaven ranch is a great location
with beautiful views. The spot is level and easy to get into. We really enjoyed chatting with the host and wish we had had more time to spend with them learning about the property. Thank you again for a great stay!
Great little private spot. Thank you K for helping me upon arrival! Kind and gracious which was very much appreciated! Would love to stay again next time I'm in the area.
Thanks to MrnMrsZona for hosting us. They sent us complete directions and instructions on how to use the entry gate so we could have a contactless arrival. We were able to see the Grand Canyon 2 days in a row and were lucky enough to be staying during a meteor shower. The stars were so amazing and we had a wonderful time during our brief stay. Our host came out to meet us on arrival and made sure we were in the right spot. So grateful to have enjoyed their Little Heaven Ranch.
The hosts were very nice and accommodating. The location is very convenient to the Grand Canyon.
Awesome living concept. They are 100% off grid. Would have loved to k ow more and learn a lot from them, but due to strict social distancing which both of us followed, we could not meet :( will definitely visit them next time.
Very quiet and well spaced sites. This is real boondocking with no water, electric or sewer. We have solar so it was fine for us. The road in and out is very rough but if you go 3 to 5 miles an hour it’s okay. We really enjoyed the view of the San Francisco Mountains near Flagstaff and only 20 miles to the Grand Canyon! Much closer than Williams if you can’t get a spot in the GC Campgrounds (since they are booked a year in advance).
Stayed 3 wonderful nights... The stars were so bright that with my iPhone stars app (SkyView), we could identify all the constellations , planets, and even a satellite passing overhead... I would definitely stay there again... Thanks for having us!!!
- PS... The fire pit was awesome...
Contactless check in, easy spots with fire pits and tables even, pretty views of the mountains. The road in off the highway was super rough but we just took it very very slowly. Was really convenient for our trip to the Grand Canyon. Thanks hosts!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Quiet and comfortable place
Beautiful view of the night sky/stars
We really appreciated how responsive this host was—- detailed navigation, thoughtful no-contact check in process. The setting was serene and sites are far apart from each other. We didn’t get a chance to meet our hosts in person, but are sincerely thankful for the opportunity to stay somewhere both safe AND scenic, especially on a busy Easter weekend.
We stayed 2 nights at Little Heaven Ranch and appreciated the great views and proximity to the Grand Canyon. The hosts had provided a great map of their location and letter with useful info.
Enjoyed our 2 night stay, great hosts, peaceful, only 18 miles to park. Thanks
The hosts are super accommodating (extending our stay because I was under the weather) and even checked on us to see if we needed anything. It’s a wide open space with gorgeous mountain views and well-maintained. There are dry camping spots and some with power. The roads going in are pretty rough (we have a 42’ fifth wheel and we went slower than suggested) but it’s so incredibly peaceful! It’s awesome that they share this beauty so freely 🥰
We really enjoyed our stay with MrnMrsZona. They were wonderful hosts and even accepted our request very last minute. The location had a gorgeous sunset and moonrise as well as sunrise. The night was peaceful and restful. Couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay when visiting the Grand Canyon.
The road coming in is mostly washboards. Make sure and keep your speeds real slow unless you want to rearrange your cabinets.
Stayed here to day hike in Grand Canyon. The hosts were very lovely and the location was ideal! Thank you :)
The hosts were hospitable and wonderful people. They even took the time to teach us some astronomy. Conveniently close to the grand canyon too
Peaceful and dark skies
LHR is a safe quiet place to boondock near Grand Canyon. Sites were mostly level with a beautiful view of the mountains. We had great communication with the hosts and are grateful they shared their wonderful views with us.
We had a very nice stay at LHR. Sad the weather wasn't on our side and had to leave earlier than expected but overall great location, beautiful sunsets, and nice people!
Quiet location and so close to the Grand Canyon! We enjoyed our 2 night stay at our very own site at Little Heaven Ranch. This location is very easy to find if you follow the hosts directions, a bit of a rough road- but if you take it easy you won’t have any issues! We will most definitely be back again for more adventures in the area. Thank you!
Very helpful host. But don’t follow the gps. I got late. It wasn’t my fault. Go during the day. I stated one night as I boondocked in the rv parking the other nights. Right in the park. No one bothered me.
Thanks for having us, super responsive host, lovely spot and super close to Grand Canyon.
We had a great stay here. Very quiet, peaceful and close to the Grand Canyon. Our hosts were very gracious and friendly. They even made sure we got some candy for Halloween! Thanks so much for having us.
Easy to get to the Grand Canyon. Host very welcoming. The stars ar night are awesome
Hosts delivered exactly what they promised. Too bad his wife wasn't feeling well enough to share a meal. Thank you so much for sharing your view. Hopefully I'll be able to visit again and get to know the hosts more.
Nice place to relax after a long day of driving. Very close to Grand Canyon for a quick visit along our way. Host very pleasant and considerate.Beautiful view of Desert sunrise And sunset.
Mrnmrszona gave us very detailed directions on finding their place and met us at the gate with a friendly smile. They have a huge plot of land with tons of space, but unfortunately it had just rained so the terrain was not fit for driving in some areas (at least we think). They kindly offered us use of their electricity hook up as well as their a place to dump our garbage. It rained most of the night but otherwise the stay was pleasant. Would recommend to anyone to stay there. Great hosts.
Great folks, very accommodating last minute, and understanding when we had to cancel. Hope to be back that way some day!
