We enjoy traveling to different areas of the southeast. Mainly in Florida but we've ventured to Georgia and North Carolina on a few short trips. But every place we visit offers us something new and exciting that adds to our memorable adventures.

Skills & Expertise to Share

Dave is a wonderful handy man and can fix almost anything. He volunteers at a community theater where he builds the sets for the upcoming plays.
Dee has spent many years caring for, and fostering, animals. Bottle baby kittens are my specialty.

DHal1968's Pets

We have two inside cats. Stewie is an eight year old Maine Coon mix and Dax is a Siamese mix. He's less than a year old. They were both fostered and adopted from shelters. They are your typical persnickety cats but we love them anyway.

Favorite Boondocking Locations

Don't have any yet. Hopefully soon though.

DHal1968's Hometown

Sarasota Florida. We've seen our small town grow from a sleepy little fishing community in the 1950's to a bustling city by the sea.

Cat people!! 😀

Deehalpern were great guests - gave us a head's-up ahead of time and arrived on-time. Spent the evening in conversation in the screen house. They left us with a thank you card and donation which was appreciated but not necessary. They also have two beautiful cats which Taillite was very interested in! They are welcome to stay here any time!

Great guests!

Deehalpern were great guests - gave us a head's-up ahead of time and arrived on-time. We offered electricity to them - just 20 Amps. They generously left a thank you card and donation for it, which we don't usually ask for, so that was a nice bonus. We even got to see their "persnickety cats." They are welcome to return.
