I am pretty quiet, old-school polite, introverted, and love animals.

I am recently separated from my husband, after 32 yrs. together. I travel alone (except for my elderly deer head chihuahua, Zoey, and my grey tabby, Treasure. I have been in nearly every state outside of those in the northeast, Hawaii, and Alaska but I am not done yet! I am fairly quiet as I have a severe hearing deficit. I tend to be gentle unless someone is really, truly out of line and very much an introvert as my trust level of others is very low, taking me a while to truly warm to anyone (except animals). I am a nature freak, I do as much organic, homegrown food as possible, and I drink very infrequently (like once or twice a year and one glass of wine or one beer infrequent). I go to bed and rise early. No sense in wasting daylight. My mantra is a combination of two different sayings; a) "God isn't finished writing your story yet. Quit trying to steal the pen!" and b) I am tired of watching everyone my age sit around waiting to die, I am going to go out and live!".

Wonderful guest

We enjoyed hosting BlueHaze and her little pets. She was so quiet we hardly knew she was there. We had a couple conversations to get to know each other and exchange experiences. She was the first guest we have hosted and is welcome back anytime.
