Medical professional and stay at home wife with 3 young kids and 2 dogs. New to RVing and boondocking, but we’re adventurous and love the outdoors. We’re happy to host a RV family or couple for the night. Space for a single rig, under 30ft. Access to water and electricity is available upon request. Sorry, no dumping. We are a Christian family, a happy to share about our faith but don’t worry, we are not pushy.

docbarber4's Rig

Rig Type: Fifth Wheel

40 feet long

Family of 5 (3 kids, ages 3, 7, and 9) plus 2 dogs. We’re in a 40 ft fifth wheel, trying to go full-time but for now, just getting used to the rig. We’re doing a bunch of trips here and there, and love the quiet and space boondocking provides. We don’t necessarily Need hookups, but they are a nice bonus if available. We try to stay as quiet as 3 kids and 2 dogs allow, do our best to honor basic quiet hours, and always leave the place cleaner than we found it. Looking forward to experiencing your place.

Awesome Host!

We came in late and left early, so did not get to meet our gracious host. They had the water and electric ready for us. Very beautiful setting! So thankful for their hospitality! Would highly recommend this place!

Incredible hospitality

The host went above and beyond as a boondocking host, ensuring I was comfortable and completely facilitated and even offering suggestions and advice on RVing and boondocking. Great guy.

Gracious hosts!

Very nice street side parking in a very safe neighborhood. The hosts were over the top helpful with offering 30 amp service and water if needed, and even welcomed us with a gracious gift. I would love to someday repay the hospitality with a farm experience for their three beautiful boys!! Great Christian family I wish we could have spent more time with.

Great first stay

This was our first Boondockers Welcome stay. What a great experience. It started off with excellent communication with our host that included step-by-step directions to their home. We were met by a wonderful gift and smiling faces from all the family. 30 amp service was ready when we arrived. The parking spot was relatively level, just one block under the back wheel, and quiet. Hosts were very respectful of our privacy. My only wish is we had more time to visit and get to know them better.

Awesome Hosts in a nice neighborhood

I stayed here one night and was so close to downtown, Dothan. My hosts were amazing and very sweet, they even left me a small gift when I arrived. They gave me a hookup and offered water if I needed it. I had a good nights rest...it was residential, but they made me feel right at home, so it was cozy for me. I highly recommend staying here if you plan to visit Dothan. A+

Great and welcoming family

Enjoyed my stay out front as well as great fellowship. You are staying street front so you will need to level by the curb. Also the subdivision has sprinkler system that kicks on about 1 am, be sure your door and windows curb side are closed as you could get some overspray. I hope to be able to stop on way back south next November.

Wonderful Hosts!

We were their first guests. They were helpful and welcoming offering their backyard for our dog while we settled in. We were offered fresh herbs and a gift which made our day. I would highly recommend them and thank them for their care!
