Horses and dogs
My rig is a 40' long class a with 3 slides I told Jeep and in fully self contained I M travelling with my grandson
Ginger1 was polite friendly and interesting to talk to. We got to know her and her Fur baby quite well. We enjoyed talking to her and hearing about her travels and experiences. Come back anytime. Safe Travels and good luck in your search for a new home base.
We were having some trouble with an HOA nearby her property and she was gracious enough to let us stay on her property. It is beautiful property, I do feel like you need to be a bit skilled at driving and maneuvering a bigger rig, but we did fine with our 32 ft travel trailer. Four-wheel drive would definitely help in getting to the property. We would gladly stay there again! Thank you!
I didn’t meet my host but she was lovely on the phone. I found the place easily based on her instructions and the photo, and it was a beautiful location with a great sunset and it was a very peaceful night. The road is a little bumpy getting there but it’s worth it. Thanks for the hospitality!
Rancho mañana was an amazing and beautiful place to stay and ginger1 was awesome and very helpful she definitely make us feel comfortable we are so grateful and really appreciate it 😃
A nice, quiet stay in a scenic area. We didn't actually meet Ginger1, but her daughter was on site when we arrived. We were directed to a level spot near a second garage with a table and chairs for relaxing in the evening. A great home base for exploring the area.
We stayed 4 nights and had absolutely quiet and pleasant views of the hillsides. However because of recent rain, the half-mile of dirt road was very rutted from the runoff. Combined with the steep uphill it made it rather tough for us in our 30 foot trailer. We stayed in the lower level which again was difficult to turn around to come back out. We scraped bottom, needed to guide the trailer out and had to use 4-wheel drive. It seems this BW site would be best for RVs 25 feet and smaller. There is a nice level spot in front of a garage but only works for small rigs. Due to the host having a death in the family we did not meet however Ginger was responsive by email and phone. We enjoyed meeting another new “Boondocker” the first night. Thank you for the stay.
I found it very welcoming and hard to imagine such a peaceful spot so close to the interstate. We tried the dry bar with another guest and a bottle of wine :-) and enjoyed a very peaceful nights sleep - thank you. The dirt road is pretty rutted and could use a drag but we found our after a helpful call to Ginger.
The road in is a bit rough but doable for our 32’ fifthwheel and my husband’s amazing parking job definitely best done in daylight.
Awesome location, close enough to do a day trip to the beach. Super friendly, available, flexible host.
What a great stay for me. Quiet rolling hills to view. I have a 32ft clsss C, I parked on the lower level near the back gate. Site was sand/mud but firm. Do take your time getting in and out especially if it has or is raining can be very slippery and rutted. No wifi, sprint signal was 2 to 3 bars media text didn't go through, but word texting did. No hookups. I don't tow a car but my neighbor did and said go to the very back gate around the property to get to lower level towing a car. Also this is south CA wine country and there are lots of wineries to visit while you are here. Hope this helps Ginger was super nice!
We had some trouble getting in due to faulty GPS but Ginger was very helpful and patient on the
phone and we were able to make it to our camping site without further problem.
Always a great stay here! Wonderful host.
Beautiful scenery and quiet...
It rained pretty good on this stay... Hills and dirt road Pretty slick.
But, I just waited a couple hours for the ground to firm up again so my little car wouldnt just sit and spin..LOL 😄
Not a big deal!
Just be prepared..ha ha
Always a pleasure
Gracious host. Multiple camping locations on property to choose from. Close to shopping, but feels rural and secluded. There is public land across the road for walking and pet time. We very much enjoyed our stay and getting to know our host.
Note: the road in is dirt. Take your time. Any rig should be ok (assuming you feel comfortable driving on dirt roads).
We look forward to returning in the hopefully near future ; -)
Was a peaceful location off the beaten path. Rough road to get in and out. We had trouble getting turned around and parked with our rig, 32' travel trailer. Also, scraped on the way out the drive. Would be a nice location if you have a smaller rig.
Ginger1 was truly above and beyond from start to finish. She ensured everything was more than perfect from the moment I arrived until I departed. She helped me to find the best route and parking situation, had great suggestions for the area, and was an unbelievable guide! I really enjoyed getting to know her (as well as the pup and horse). And the peacefulness and views are second to none!
Ginger offered her home to us with a kindness that is rare and wonderful. We appreciate her hospitality and hope to pay it forward to people we haven't met yet as we travel.
Randall and India
Good place to boondock. A little tight and rough driving in and out of the property but I made it. Friendly Host. Thanks again
Was an easy overnight on our road trip. The spot was spacious and peaceful. Road in was dirt and really bumpy, so keep that in mind if you have a larger rig, but we made it in and out okay in our 27 ft class A.
We had a fantastic time at Rancho Manana! Ginger1 is so kind and has made the area for rigs so nice.
We really enjoyed chatting with her and the beautiful views around the area.
Your host is a wonderful positive person...very accomidating, helpful and respectful to privacy.
loves people and well deserves our appreciation and respect
wishes to provide a " safe place" to other rv'rs ...
it can be intimidating when trying to find a safe place to stop over for a night or two...(Walmart, rest stop, side of the street comes to mind...hmmm, rather not)
They are currently improving areas on the property to make it more inviting and comfortable...
The property is tucked away..., rolling hills and valleys, horses, wildlife etc... resistent to city/housing development...
Very quiet and calm...
That said, road are not paved...
If you've never had your rig off pavement, u may want to survey the route ..
I checked it out in my car before I brought in my rv...I had never been "off road"...a little intimidated as a first timer..
I rolled in just fine..and am so happy I did!!!
The property is just as described, with warm and welcoming hosts, who were great at communicating. Even when we got turned around, they were patient and understanding. Note: the property does have dogs who playfully bark. It's not incessantly, but regularly. If you travel with dogs, who bark, when other dogs bark, request the lower RV site, which is further away from their dogs.
I would definitely stay again.
We needed a place to land so we could attend a special birthday party while waiting our week out of Thousand Trails. This place fit the bill perfectly. What a wonderful stay. Surrounded by desert and hills. Quiet location behind the house. The pad was level and even when we ran our generator we didn't feel like we were bothering anyone. We had a wonderful stay here. A close 3 miles to stores and gas but no road noise at all. The last half a mile was a dirt road with hills but we easily took our half ton and trailer over them. Host greeted us at the gate and was very responsive to texts and calls. Thank you so much, hope we can stay again :-)
This was a great location for us to stay while visiting family in the area. There is a large nature preserve across the street which was nice for walking our dog. It was a little tight to get our 38’ 5th wheel turned around to leave but we were able to with a very multi point turn. Well water was provided. We would stay again if in the area.
