We are taking a winter break from our small, family owned bakery to rest, relax and recuperate from our normally hectic, non-stop, go-Go-GO! paced life.
We enjoy meeting new people, exploring new places - especially in nature, reading, eating well, peace and quiet, and sharing time with friends and family.
Jennifer is a caregiver at heart, and also has extensive business management and bookkeeping experience.
Hans is a European schooled chef and pastry chef, with a [self-taught] passion for making sourdough bread.
We adopted our dogs, Frida and Pablo, a bonded pair, from a shelter on Long Island about two and a half years ago. They are each about 80-90 lb. mixed breed. Pablo is generally easy-going with other dogs, Frida usually needs a little time to warm up to new dogs, but we have found that she does well when she's given the time and space to be properly introduced.
Still fairly new to the whole experience, but so far, our uncle's couple of acres in Arlington, Vermont...
When we aren't traveling we live in and Jennifer is from Bennington, Vermont Hans is from Breda, The Netherlands
