We are work-at-home professionals who enjoy travelling, whether it is in our Travel Van or by cruise ship! We both have a technical software background and the internet is key to our existence :). We like to experience different food cultures and visiting heritage sites. We have equipped our Travel Van with solar power to enhance our boondocking.
We have been told we know a bit about computers and soon will be "experts" in solar power systems.
2004 Roadtrek 190 Versatile
Although we ourselves did not get the chance to meet they stayed here with our Daughter and she had a nice chat with them she said until the mosquitoes got the better of them, they would be more then welcome to come back again.
We had the pleasure of having this lovely couple at our home last week. Very nice & friendly. Wishing them a safe and pleasurable trip back home...:-)
We had the pleasure of hosting this nice couple last week as a stop-over for two nights. It was exciting learning about their lives; their trips and their future camping plans. Great couple / Their rig is a Roadtrek and is equipped with a large custom designed solar panel for dry camping. Very unique!
We had only signed up as boondockers a few days earlier, and our first contact through the site was a cheery "Hi Neighbour". Cruisefx lives a few km away from us, and wanted to welcome us to Boondockers Welcome.
The result was a pleasant afternoon together at our site, where we made a couple of new friends, compared vans, learned a lot, and enjoyed some very tasty home baking.
Cruisefx has our strong recommendation as either host or guest,
Cruisefx stayed with us one night and we had a very nice time chatting with them around a fire.
We thoroughly enjoyed Paul and Jenny's stay with us. Their wide set of interests kept us chatting long after a excellent BBQ on our back deck.
Erwin and Linda
We thoroughly enjoyed hosting Cruisefx and had such great conversations they left us wanting more time with them! Who knows what other interesting topics would have come up? Please do visit again so we can find out. We'll be curious to hear the final report on the solar and we wish you many, many years of RVing fun.
