We are avid boaters and even lived aboard our sailboat for 5 years with our son till he became a teenager and the space felt smaller, so now we are back in a house. We have a 5th wheel camper and are getting back into the boondocking fun after a few years spending more time on the water than land. While boating, we were essentially boondockers as we never visited marinas (aside from our home marina) and spent many nights anchored with nothing but the wind and solar. We own a local real estate brokerage and can assist with any questions about our local market if you happen to fall in love with our area when passing through. :)
100T USCG Master Captain with towing/sailing endorsements. Florida real estate broker. Backyard Poultry (don't eat the birds, but we do enjoy their eggs).
We have two dogs, an indoor rooster, many outdoor chickens and ducks. Outdoor chickens/ducks stay home when we are out, but the dogs/rooster come with us when our son joins on the boat or camping, though more often these days it is just the two of us when we travel.
So far we haven't found a location where we didn't enjoy boondocking. Though there are many location we wish boondocking was available.
We have a 2015 Forest River Wildcat 312BHX with 2 slides. Tow vehicle is a 2002 Ram 2500.
This was an awesome spot!! We called on such short notice and were confused about the parking, but they were so kind and accommodating. It is a lovely little neighborhood and so wonderfully quite after two nights with trains and highways. We didn't get to meet them because of the rain, but they were truly very kind to me even when I was acting like a crazy lady!!! If you need a quick place to stop to be away from the cracker barrel traffic or trains, this is so worth it. I truly can't thank them enough!!
Stayed with BoatToRv while passing through the area on the way to visit family. They were very welcoming and accepted my request with little notice. So happy to have electric available needed due to HOT and humid weather. Had a good night's sleep before hitting the road again. Thanks so much for your hospitality! I would stay again if in the area.
The host was very helpful and friendly. The spot to park was easily accessed and level.
It was a nice quiet spot to get some work done and rest a while. Definitely would stay again if in the area.
Verizon service was great at this location.
We really appreciated getting to spend the night, and the kids looooved meeting the pet rooster. Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks guys!
Enjoyed our visit with the host family as they got us settled in. Level overnight stop appreciated electric and water.
Had a restful stay. Able to fill up on water. Great host thank you!
The hosts were friendly, met us on arrival, and helped us with electric and access to water. The neighborhood is older and quiet but close to restaurants and fuel. We felt quite safe and would gladly stay again next time we're in the area.
I appreciated the hosting here in Pensacola. Didn't get to meet my hosts in person because of my tight schedule, but the location was easy to find and get in and out of, and Pensacola is a great city to explore! Thanks much for the hospitality!
A very friendly and welcoming couple. We shared great conversation around many common interests, boating, RV’s and life. So enjoyed meeting them! Would love to have them come our way some time! It was very easy for us to back into and very level. Would return again if we are in their area.
Very nice and quiet place. When we arrived we were offered water, power and wifi. Too bad it was raining we could have talk about similar interests. Would not hesitate to go back again. Thanks
We had a great sleep and stay here. So quiet and safe. Would recommend for sure!
