Christian couple that enjoys traveling. We host 'Camp Rocky Run' and as BW hosts, we do indeed know and appreciate what is involved with hosting. We will follow your rules!
We enjoy cycling and sometimes take the scooters with us in the pickup truck bed.
Our unit is equipped with solar power, so we rarely need electrical hookups. We have a very small generator that is very quiet, but generally don't have to run it. As with any boon-docker, we do need fresh water every few days.
We do not smoke, drink alcohol or travel with our pets. :-)
Computer networking, radio, electronics and security. Amateur radio.
Yes, a cat and a dog. They stay at home.
Back yard, down by the creek. Anywhere that has a nice view!
2018 Keystone - 280RKS Aspen Trail. (28 foot + coupler) around 30 feet total length. We have a 2019 black Ford pickup truck. Sometimes we will have our motor scooters in the bed of the truck. We have solar power and generally don't need electrical hookup. We do have a very small generator that is used only to charge the batteries. It is very quiet and can be put in the back of the pickup truck to make it even quieter if needed. We do not smoke, drink or 'party'.
Jeep2liberty stayed with us just overnight while passing through our area. We enjoyed their visit and had a nice fire side chat. We would welcome them back.
Butch & Judy
Had a great visit getting set up. Hope you can come back and stay longer in the future!
Enjoyed. Visiting with both couples, learned about subjects new to me. Always great getting to know people from different walks of.life.
Really enjoyed visiting with jeep2liberty and would definitely have them back..
It was our pleasure to Host Jeep2liberty. Very much enjoyed their visit. May our paths cross again very soon.
We were happy to help these folks with the logistics of picking up a relative so they could head home. Welcome back to visit anytime.
A great couple to have as my guests. Pleasant, kind and considerate. Very technical savvy! They really enjoyed the area and I will welcome them back anytime.
It was a pleasure to host this couple and they are welcome back in the future.
This was our first boondockers welcome experience and our hosts made it incredibly easy and comfortable! They assisted us in parking our rig on the gravel drive even though we arrived as the sun was setting. There was a nice big space for us to walk our two dogs. Thank you!!
Doc and I had a wonderful time on their property. It was very quiet and relaxing.. They were very helpful and accommodating. We appreciate them letting us stay on there property thank you again.
Rocky Run Camp in Eaton, Ohio is a wonderful place to stay! This was our first Boondocker stop and it did not disappoint! Our hosts gave us a warm and friendly welcome when we arrived and showed us just where to park in their gorgeous backyard. We enjoyed a fun chat around their fire pit until late in the evening. We’ll definitely return for another Boondocker’s evening when we’re back this way. Great hosts and a great place to stay. Give them a call next time you’re in the area!
Thank you both!!
Our first Boondockers Welcome site and it couldn't be a better experience. The hosts were wonderful. Felt like family. We really clicked. The spot is in their huge backyard. Plenty of room for any size rig. We are 36ft plus a jeep. We picked a place right next to the creek. Had some leveling issues but was provided blocks to help. We will be back here our next time thru.
It was a pleasure to stay here. We were on our way cross country and had a great time staying here. The hosts not only welcomed us warmly with a spot in the shade next to a creek but supplied us with electric and water. Would come back anytime. Thank you.
