My wife and I have lived on this 10 acre property for over 25 years now. This was an old fruit farm in years gone by; lots of wildlife viewing (turkeys, deer, coyotes, birds).
I have a smattering of tools etc. and can help with some RV repairs if necessary.
No pets currently but have spent a lifetime with Labradors so we are dog lovers!
I would anticipate traveling back and forth to Florida a couple of times a year, as well as trips west to Oregon and Washington. Can envision southwestern Ontario as another place that boondocking would be nice - I have been known to take our rig on the road for business travel to break the monotony of staying in a motel!
St. Joseph, MI would be the closest "home town". Its a beautiful little town on the shores of Lake Michigan. Quaint shops, a very well known beach area, loads of fine dining......
25 foot Travel Trailer - 2013 KZ Spree. One slide out. We tow with a Chev Silverado 2wd.
Spent one night at this little piece of heaven. Very accommodating to us and our 29' Sunseeker. Provided us with electric hookup and water. Highly recommend these hosts.
We stayed with IanDav for a couple of nights recently and just wanted to say that they are VERY gracious hosts. We did not have the opportunity to spend much time with our hosts, but all our interactions were pleasant and informative. This is only our second Boondocking experience and think this organization is a wonderful resource...especially because we get to meet people like IanDav.
Ian and Debbie are very friendly and helpful hosts. Staying at their place was a great way to begin our 6 week camping trip.
Ian and Debbie have a wonderful family property where we found respite from the road, quiet, beautiful, and gracious. We felt as though we had already arrived home!
Thanks Ian and Debbie, we enjoyed your company and hospitality. The location is great, less than a half mile to a public park on lake MI.
