Nick and I travel and live in our converted school bus. We've been living in the bus for close to two years. Last year we lived in San Diego, CA and this year we're chasing warm weather in Florida. We both love nature and being outside. Before moving into the bus we did an around the world backpacking trip. We love to bike, watch movies and write code and I love to cook for anyone and everyone :) We prefer to stay in one place for longer periods of time to get to know people and make friends.
I love to cook and Nick tells me I'm pretty good at it. We did our bus conversion ourselves so I'd say we're both hard workers. We're also both software engineers.
We have a dog named Tesla. She's a high energy 35lb Boykin Spaniel. She gets very excited to meet new people and dogs but she is also very submissive and gentle.
When we're not traveling we're visiting family and friends in the midwest - Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Our rig is a 2004 Bluebird All American converted school bus that is 40' long and 10'9" tall. We have solar for off grid living and are energy self sufficient and can haul plenty of water to sustain ourselves. We don't currently haul a vehicle.
I was really busy with work and a renovation project so I didn't have a chance to hang out or spend any time with ngaffer, but they seemed very nice and a welcome back anytime 😊
Ngaffer stayed with us a couple nights and they were wonderful guests, quiet, respectful and interesting. We enjoyed visiting with them hearing their travel experiences. We also played a couple games and had fun and some laughs. Their dog Tesla was also a perfect guest never heard her bark. We would certainly welcome them back. Natasha and Nick we are wishing you safe travels as you continue your journey south.

Ngaffer stayed on my BDW site for 2 nights. The first day was miserable, cold and rainy. Day 2 was a bit nicer. They got out to tour a bit then I invited them in to play Sequence, a game that is becoming popular. I found them to be very pleasant and enjoyed their company. They would have been welcome to stay longer. They left the site and my shop bathroom which I opened to them in a nice clean condition. Should they ever come back to this area they will be welcome to come back and stay longer.
