After completing a 6000 mile boat journey around the eastern part of North America, (google "The Great Loop" and you'll see what I'm talking about) we are embarking on another excursion to see the "landlocked" sights in our RV! We hope to travel across America, Canada and finally Alaska!
Sorry, not much to offer here.
We have an 8 year old, female Siberian Husky who has been right by our side throughout our travels.
We are brand new to Boondocking so we look forward to finding a favorite spot.
I was born and raised in Massachusetts, my partner is a Michigander from birth. We've spent 30 years in Florida and now have retired to the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.
We own a 2019 Class C, Thor "Four Winds 22B", but the rig is 24' in length. It has one small slide for the bedroom located on the driver's side. It measures approximately 9' wide and 13' tall. We use 30 amp service when available. We carry two street bicycles on the rear.
We're sorry the weather wasn't more conducive to exploring Mayberry. Our guests kept us informed of ETA, and left everything nice and tidy. We're glad you enjoyed your ice cream at Scoops, we think it's the best around! Thank you for the strawberry jam, too! You're welcome back anytime!
Had a good time socializing with DCowdrey. Welcome back anytime, travel safe.
Enjoyed the short visit we had with DCowdrey and crew. It was a quick overnight stay on a rainy evening, so not much time to visit. They were quiet, pleasant and absolutely no trouble at all to have around. They would certainly be welcome back anytime!
Very pleasant. Guests were very considerate, so considerate that they in fact shortened their stay because it was hotter than expected and they didn’t want to leave their generator running too much, so they found a campsite nearby to make it easier on everyone. It was a little awkward, but appreciated. They are welcome back anytime.
We very much enjoyed these guests, including the well-behaved, 4 legged one. It was fun hearing about their adventures and life outlooks while we floated on the lake. We look forward to when they pass this way again,
D and T were very nice guests. It was a short stay but pleasant and quiet guests and never heard a peep from the pooch. They are welcome back anytime!
We really enjoyed having DCowdrey and guest stay with us. We learned a bit about living on a boat and we tried to give out a few tips about full-timing. We would welcome them back anytime!
DCowdrey had things to take care of in the area and places to see and we were glad to provide a spot that allowed them to set up with some electrical power and then come and go as needed. It worked out so well, they are returning!!
It was nice to meet DCowdrey, they had a short overnight stay and were a pleasure to host. If by this way again I hope they stop by.
