Convenient location, hospitable hosts

Jewel of a location in Maine. Conveniently located just off of Route 1 near Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Fort Knox, Penobscot Conservatory Bridge. Hosts were very accommodating with a level spot, drop cord, and fresh water hose for us. They made room for our rv, even though they had another RV guest using their main hookups. They were very friendly & willing to share valuable travel tips. Thank you so much!

Basic stop rocks

This is a great stop with lots to see nearby. The spot is level and the host has provided everything needed (electric, water, blocks). We really enjoyed our stay and loved being able to bring our puppy. Thank you for everything!!

Wonderful hosts, great location

Of all the hosts we've met on BW, BruceBarry1 were some of our favorites- warm, hospitable people and great conversation. Wish we had more time to get to know them. The parking spot is very well thought out and the 30 amp power gave us a nice break, since we had been on generator power for a while. The spot is nice and remote, but we still had enough cell signal with Verizon to work on school. We also couldn't believe how cheap diesel was 8 minutes up the road (haven't seen 2.07 since we were in the south in June). Acadia was a little over an hour drive for us and well worth it. Great stay!

Nice stay!

Our first experience with Boondockers Welcome and it was great! Very nice and welcoming people, very generous with water and electric hook-ups, and also very knowledgeable of the area. Level and private pkg spot at the end of their property.
Thank you!!
