Super kind and helpful host!

I followed the host’s driving directions and had no problems finding their beautiful location. Host was quick to offer hookups without taking the donation I offered, and after that I really felt like I had the place to myself. It was spacious, beautiful, clean and quiet. Having the turnaround at the end of the driveway made it so easy! Would definitely recommend this host.

So peaceful! Loved this place so much!

We chose to stay at the back of the property and it was like camping in our own private spot. The owners were friendly and gracious. Thank you!

Wonderful Visit with Triple Nickel Farm!

We had a WONDERFUL stay at Triple Nickel Farm! The property is beautiful, and our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. It was a great experience and we would highly recommend! Thank you so much.

Hospitality and Privacy

Hosts were welcoming and had a great spot for us on the farm. It is very close to the Little Miami River and bike path. A great place to stay.

A wonderful first experience !!!

What a wonderful first stay at a Boondockers Welcome. We were met by the owner as soon as we pulled into his driveway which we found by following his spot on directions. He welcomed us and gave us a couple of parking options. He offered us the option of water and power and anything he could do to help in anyway. We decided to take the option of parking at the graveled turnaround to the rear of his property. That was a wonderful choice as it was level, quiet and very nice to watch the deer in the Soybean field.
We enjoyed watching the goats play . Our lab Lexi enjoyed playing with their dog who introduced her to their pond. Both dogs had a grand time.
We had a very nice visit and with our hosts and had a nice tour of their rig. As a bonus they gave us fresh eggs from their chickens.
Hope fully our paths will cross again.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay here and the host was super friendly and helpful. We loved petting the goats. We definitely recommend!
Thank you!

July 2021

Another wonderful stay.

Great hosts, great parking spot on the edge of the back 40.
You feel safe and secure yet just minutes from the freeway exit.
Our 2nd stay and will definitely stay again when passing through.

June 2021

Last minute stop

We got caught driving without anywhere to stop as some previous plans fell through.
We put our request in around 6:30pm and triplenickelfarm replied promptly and was happy to help. They put us in a beautiful secluded spot In the back. Good kind folks, definitely recommend their farm for a place to stop and rest!

Picture Perfect

Everything about our stay at Triple Nickel Farm over Memorial Day was perfect. The hosts provided great directions and even greeted us when we arrived. We parked at the level turnaround at the end of the gravel drive and the setting was completely private. An chorus of birds and the neighbor’s horses provided the entertainment for a relaxing cookout.
The hosts took the time to show us around and even introduced us to their goats and chickens. (Now I want goats, too!)
Triple Nickel Farm was exactly what we’d hoped for when we joined BW — like-minded folks and a welcoming place to stay at the end of a long day’s drive. We were even given a gift of farm-fresh eggs to enjoy after our stay had ended. Only our second BW stay, it was wonderful experience all around.

Can’t beat it!

Absolutely beautiful place to spend the night, and very friendly host. We loved going to bed with a magnificent sunset and waking to the smell of honeysuckle. The kids were thrilled to meet the goats and chickens on the farm and see visiting bunnies and deer. Having a turnaround on the property made it SO easy to get our rig situated. The host-provided directions are very helpful, considering the GPS and road signs try to make you take a different way.

Great place

Quiet and welcoming! Very relaxing

May 2021

Beautiful place! We felt welcome

We were here for one night, it’s a beautiful area!! Went for a nice walk, used the fire pit, and relaxed. I highly recommend this place :)

May 2021

Will extend our stay!

Great homestead with a long gravel lane and turn around.

Parked behind the 5th wheel and plugged into 15 amp. Water is available at a nearby hose.

We face a huge oak tree with lots of birds to identify. Despite
I-71 noise, it is a very countryside setting. So many nearby attractions so Google your interests!

This place was perfect. We were greeted by the nice host upon pulling into the drive. ( The directions on their BW page are clear and precise) We really only needed a place to stay the night for 2 nights as we had plans in the area. With the Cold rainy weather we Opted to stay inside the RV most of the time we were at the location. That being said, it was a perfect, flat spot and I’d love to stay again to explore and sit around the fire.

April 2021

sweet farm

this place is in a peaceful valley, with a cute little farm of goats and chickens. Our dogs were so thrilled to run in the open field after a day of driving. We really enjoyed this spot and will come back again!

Easy to find, with excellent directions.

Thank you Triple Nickel Farm!!!

April 2021

Very Enjoyable

The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. The pond was well stocked for catch and release, the goats were entertaining, and the chickens gave us some eggs! Highly recommend staying here!

April 2021

Nice small farm

We are actually staying two nights at Triple Nickel Farm due to our tail light needing to be replaced. Our hosts was very gracious to offer the extra night. Their directions on finding their place are spot on. Don't worry when you see the sign at the Flying J that says the road is impassable for RVs in 2 miles, you will reach the farm before that. There is a great pub down by the river that has live music and good chicken wings. We are enjoying our stay and our host is very nice. Town has everything you could need just down the road. The Flying J has a dump station.

April 2021

Lovely little farm

Right off the highway it's a great location. Not too far from the city. Host was great. Very personable. Really loved the spot. Chickens and goats as our neighbors were the best. Beautiful property. Hope to stop by again next year.

April 2021

Goats & Chickens & More

Spent 3 nights there and it was very comfortable. If you stay in the back it is very secluded as if it were your private area. The hosts were very accommodating to the point of letting my wife into their goat/chicken pens so she could play animal whisperer. Not a negative for us as we are use to road noise but you can here traffic on I71 however when evening comes it diminishes quite a bit. Very beautiful farm and surrounding area. And seems how they have the chickens we were given fresh eggs. We do plan to return sometime for another visit. Thanks to Triple Nickel Farms for the enjoyable stay!! Recommend a visit.

April 2021

Short life on the farm!

Our host couldn’t have been more gracious! Had a wonderful time at their beautiful location! It was a great stop over and we really appreciated the opportunity. Hope to stop by again in the future!

March 2021

Great spot.

Our host met us to give directions in setting up. Nice level spot with water and power plus a large open field where our dog could run off leash. That was truly appreciated. Quiet and flexible location, we’d stay here again.

March 2021

Hard to beat!

After hosting for over 18 months, this was our first time as guests.
Boy, we sure got it right and it will be hard to top.
Excellent communication with great directions.
Great parking spot with easy turnaround.
Very accommodating and kind hosts.
It's very easy to see why they have had so many boondockers welcomed at their place.

January 2021

Great place!

Very nice place to spend a night! We're heading south to Texas just got a late start. So thankful for bw opening a piece of there property to us. I didn't meet the owners but my hubby did he enjoyed talking to him. We will go back if we're in the area again.

November 2020

Great place to stop and rest.

Very welcoming hosts. We were not able to spend any time chatting. It’s a wonderful location and very easy to get to from the freeway. Just follow the directions given by the hosts. You have plenty of space to park and the turn around at the end is great. No backing up at all. Very level. Only heard the slightest noise from the freeway which is fairly close. Could see the slight glow of lights from Cincinnati after dark. Nothing that kept us from getting an amazing nights sleep. Hope to stop again when we can spend time chatting with the hosts.

November 2020

Farm Boondocking

When we arrive the host greeted us. He allowed us to choose between a full Boondocking site or partial hook up site. We chose the full Boondocking site.
He allowed us to fill our tank with water then we set up. The site we chose was a completely pull through site and very private. We had a wonderful time during our stay. Wonderful host.

November 2020

Gorgeous location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location. Our hosts were so welcoming and their property is absolutely gorgeous. The animals were so fun to watch. Sitting by the pond and then heading out back for relaxing fire at the fire pit was exactly what we were looking for. We got a chance to chat with the hosts by the fire as well. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Can't wait to visit again! They even let us take some fresh eggs from the chickens on the morning we left. So thoughtful!

November 2020

Friendly, quiet stop

The host was very friendly and accommodating. We used the 15 amp service that was available. Our dogs loved walking around the property, which is beautiful. It was a perfect start to our full-time RV adventure! @bigdogrv

October 2020

Excellent place 5 star!!!

The hots were really nice and personable. We were greeted and asked if we need anything don’t hesitate to ask. We got situated on a turn around and the scenery was beautiful. Deer (many) in the tree lines horses to the right of us. A buck, while having a fire was grunting and snorting behind us!! So nice, that we did not use our shades so we could wake up to our view. Breakfast was a treat as the host gave us fresh eggs from their chickens!! We will!! Be going back as we will be back thru in spring to summer of 2021 as we are full timers. Excellent place and excellent directions given and easy off/on interstate. Ty to our new friends!!

October 2020

Great stay

The dogs and I had a great stay at TripleNickleFarm for 2 nights. Enjoyed a short chat with the friendly host and the great scenery of the area. Thanks so much for sharing your property (and your fresh chicken eggs!)! I would definitely return for another stay when in the area again.

October 2020

Lovely views. Great Host!

We really enjoyed our stay at Triple Nickel Farm. The view of the soybean field, the colorful changing trees, and the horses next door was perfect for our little fall getaway. Our host was very accommodating when my little nephew asked to come along at the last minute. He enjoyed meeting the goats and chickens and loved watching the ripples in the pond while guessing what "critters are in there."

Our host even helped us out of a bind when our internet failed and we were trying to get important work completed: Total lifesaver!

The farm is conveniently located near numerous activities. We enjoyed a quick stop by the nearby outlets, took a trip to IKEA and spent time at several beautiful local parks. The farm isn't far from Cincinnati, where there's loads of things to do, or just put and enjoy this cute little farm. It's near the interstate, which is convenient, but if you are a light sleeper, you may want earplugs.

We enjoyed our little get away and would love to visit again.

August 2020

Absolute Perfection!

This was our first time boondocking and we couldn’t have wished for a more amazing experience. Our host was super inviting and gave us great suggestions of local spots to check out. The host location was perfection with total privacy. The little goat and chicken farm was a dream. We were even gifted fresh eggs from the cutest little hens for our breakfast. We are total newbies to the whole camper and boondocking lifestyle but we are hooked and can’t wait for our next adventure!!!

August 2020

Wonderful Host

We stayed here on August 14 on our way back home. Wonderful and friendly host. Very nice place for our rig. Would love to stay with them again if we are in the area.

July 2020

Our host greeted us upon our arrival with a smile. He guided us to our parking spot. It was a relaxing evening after a long trip. We look forward to staying at Triple Nickel in the future.

July 2020

Wonderful 1st Boondocking experience

John & Bonnie were the perfect hosts. Their property is simply gorgeous. We were greeted when we pulled and were given suggested options on where to park. We parked in the turnaround so it was like having our own private campground. The farm fresh eggs that we got during our stay were a wonderful addition! We would love to return next time we are in the area so that we can hang out with them again. Wonderful couple and fabulous hosts.

June 2020

Lovely Spot

This was a nice spot and they were very friendly!

June 2020

Beautiful place

Gorgeous farm. Very quiet and secluded. John is a wonderfully generous host. Helped us out with great advice for the area. Listen to his directions vs following GPS. You’ll regret it instantly.

May 2020

555 Star Site

You could not ask for a better location, host, or scenery. Host was so gracious to us and we had a wonderful time. Definitely would return anytime we are in the area.

May 2020

Beautiful location!

Easy off I-71, and surrounded by bucolic fields, singing birds, and croaking toads. So relaxing after a long drive. Hosts were friendly and engaging. Would stop here again!! ((Thank you for the fresh eggs!))

May 2020

Super Nice Hosts

What a beautiful property! We enjoyed talking with our Hosts and watching the chickens and goats. Parked on the gravel behind their rig. Great stay! Thank you!

May 2020

Our stay

Short but sweet! Quiet and safe place to stay with field views and chirping birds! Was able to "socially distance chat" with host. Would love to stay again if in the area!

April 2020

A nice place to visit on our way home.

Peaceful Stay

We had a wonderful night here. Their place is perfectly set up for any size rig and it was peaceful and private where we stayed on the gravel turnabout in the field behind their house. Great hosts!!! We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
