Newly retired school teacher with 2-schnauzers, and 2-cats. I am a respectful, conscientious person interested in learning about new adventures and I am willing to provide a safe overnight location for other same minded RVers.
2-schnauzers, and 2-cats
Camping in my Great Uncle's gated driveway. I have stayed at a few big box stores that had a beautiful garden area with accent light that was amazing but that varies from year to year.
Cincinnati, Ohio area
My rig is a Volkswagen Rialta Winnebago 2004 HD in good condition and lots of fun in 22-feet. No bump out. Easy to drive and maneuver but it only has about 10-inches of road clearance. I'm not able to drive on gravel or dirt roads with a high center, the Rialta also does NOT do well with short steep dips or tall speed bumps.
Rachel was a great guest and was nice enough to keep me informed of when she would arrive. She only stayed one night and we didn't get time to talk since we were both busy, but I'm glad she was able to find the place in the dark and set up for the night. Hope to see her when she comes through Cleveland again!
We hosted Rachel, who was a fine Boondocker. She came back from her event a day or so later and boondocked another two days to visit St Augustine.
She loves manatees and is knowledgeable about her travels....we enjoyed her.
Rachel and Zach stayed on Campobello Island for two nights.
Their two small dogs were no problem at all, but we decided not to let them visit with our dog Molly.
I really enjoyed the company of Rachel and Zack, and they are welcome back any time.
Rachel and Zach only stayed one night but they were great company! Hopefully they'll stop back in on their way home. Have a great trip; Nova Scotia is beautiful in the spring.
Can't say enough about this location, and our kind host. She made sure we were comfortable, and even gave us a tour of Cincinnati! We enjoyed getting to know her, and the history of the area. We had a great time exploring Cincinnati, and this was a great home base. Highly recommend this host site!
Our family was welcomed by Rachel! She did everything possible to make us feel welcome and was very accommodating! We were able to park the RV under the shade trees which made a huge difference in keeping our RV cooler. It was a quiet neighborhood and we had no problem sleeping! Our stay at Rachel's gave us easy access to visit the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter on two separate days! It was great getting to know Rachel on a personal level. We were able to share RV stories and teaching stories. We are so grateful for this new connection and hope to meet again.
Rachel is a great host. Super sweet and accommodating. Would totally recommend her place. Thank you so much.
Stayed at Rachel's place on my way to Florida...very good host...nice quiet spot.
Milo loved roaming in your fenced in yard...stop in if your coming to Toronto...
