I've been a folk musician and entertaining/educating children my entire adult life. I am retired and In 2020 I began living and traveling in my Vambulance going wherever life takes me. I just want to ramble around. to visit family, cousins, friends, see new places and make new friends.
I love nature and quiet, exploring small towns and visiting cities. Living in the moment is a daily practice along with practicing love, kindness and tolerance. I grew up on a farm in Wisconsin and will stay at my old home place whenever I can. I love meeting new people, playing music, reading a good book and seeing what each day will bring to me.
I play a variety of folk instruments and am excellent at entertaining folks. I am skilled at helping people downsize and organize things.
I have one dog, Ginger. She came into my life many years ago and has been living with me for over 2 years. She was my mom's dog and when she passed Ginger needed a home. She's a 15 lb., 14 year old, smart, stubborn well behaved girl.
None at this time.
I recently moved back to Wisconsin and my home base is in Mishicot, near Lake Michigan.
I am traveling in a re-purposed ambulance. I am totally self contained.
Spoonsinger was a quite guest who left no trace with her very cool RV!
She arrived just when she said she would, expertly pulled in and set up nicely. Very undemanding and quiet - she is welcome to return any time. We, at Charlies Lake View, had a wonderful evening down at the lake with Spoonsinger, watching the lake, looking at stars and the steadily burning campfire. We talked of things and things to come and listened to her beautiful music on the guitar and even sang along to a Peter, Paul and Mary song.
Fantastic guest! Would have no issues hosting in the future! Wish we could’ve had more time to visit.
Glad we were able to host you and hope to see you on the road sometime.)
Happy to host Judy again this year I always enjoy your company and music. Thanks for the musical tips I hope to apply them this week as I practice
Spoonsinger was only able to stay a couple days but we wish it could have been longer. She is a very interesting person and we really enjoyed spending some time with her. She plans to come back another time and we hope she does.
We were happy to host this interesting and self-reliant guest (and her sweet old dog) in her refurbished "vambulance." Happy trails, Spoonsinger!

We had a great time with spoonsinger and were sad she couldn't stay longer. Hope she will visit us on her way back.
What an amazing lady! Judy shared her musical talent with us... we only wished she could have stayed longer. We await her return!
Spoonsinger was an excellent guest. Friendly person and appreciative of the stay. We had a short conversation, then some tough weather. She would be welcome back.
We didn't have much time to interact, but we couldn't tell spoonsinger was there after the stay. Welcome back anytime.
We enjoyed hosting spoonsinger and her sweet little dog. She was so quiet, we barely knew she was here. We will definitely welcome her back if she comes our way again.
Although we didn't get to meet, spoke on the phone. They double checked where to park. Respectful and pleasant.Welcome anytime.
I always enjoy meeting solo travelers and learning about their journeys. I hope you come thru again soon. You were an ideal guest!
Judy was a great guest. Really enjoyed our conversation and thoroughly enjoyed her willingness to entertain us with songs and instruments around the campfire. The accompanying stories are about how and this is why I hope she will choose my boondocking site when she travels through this way again.
Very friendly. No issues at all. Unfortunately the weather was not good so we didn't get to talk much. spoonsinger is always welcome here.
Spoonsinger is welcome back.
We did as We were suppose to for the Corona virus. it does make it different.
cute little dog never made a sound.
Hope She has safe travel.
Spoonsinger, is a quiet guest, easy to talk with and quite personable. She was a pleasure to host.
Can’t say enough about this guest - should be voted as “Guest Of The Year”.
She loves to sing and play the guitar for sure (and it shows).
VERY entertaining is the best I can describe her.
Hope she returns someday.

What a wonderful traveler and a unique rig. She was very quiet and let me tour her cool ambulance rig. With a sweet small travel companion as well. I really enjoyed them!
Judy was a delightful guest. Quiet and self-sufficient, we enjoyed a number of conversations and showed each other's rigs. She got along with my Goldens and so did little Ginger. I'd love to see her here again.
