My wife and I are both retired. She was a neonatal nurse practitioner, and I was a college instructor and paramedic. We have an 83-acre farm but are no longer farming and have passed the torch onto our son. Now we plan to travel.
I've always been a jack of all trades type with many varied interests. These include construction, auto mechanics and repair, electronics and computers, ham radio, flying, science, and astronomy.
We have three English Mastiffs. They love camping and traveling.
My wife and I grew up east of Cleveland, Ohio and have lived in Arizona and Massachusetts. Our current home is a farm outside of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania.

Thanks for stopping by, my dad really enjoys talking with people and he doesn't mind sharing an experience or two!

Farmermark49 came while we were out of town. Our neighbor let us know when he arrived but didn't stop in to greet him because of the corona virus situation. Hope his stay was good and hope to meet him sometime in the future.
enjoyed hosting farmermark respectful and friendly folks, had good conversation around the campfire, welcome back anytime
My first hosting experience and all was good. Clan farmermark49 were quiet and courteous. I really hardly knew anyone was there. Certainly welcome back anytime.
Although we didn’t get an opportunity to meet our host we had a very pleasant stay. It was nice and quiet allowing for a restful night’s sleep. Would definitely stay here again.
Had a good nights sleep at Oakvue Farm.
Host was friendly and helpful. Our grandson and the dogs liked the fresh cut grass to play catch in.
Easy in and level area with nice view of cattle grazing on the hills. Quiet and calming.
We were cordially greeted by the host, his wife and their two English Mastiff‘s. Wonderful farm with animals, fish and lightning bugs. Enjoyed our peaceful night.
