Cathy and Howard have finally made it. We are starting our new life as full time RVers. We still are semi-retired who love to travel. We look forward to meeting fellow RVer's in order to gain experiences of others and an insight into the Pros and Cons of RV life. . Cathy has enjoyed working as a Probation & Parole Officer and currently as a part time support worker for Community Living. Howard is retired from Dofasco and retired as Auxiliary Inspector Ontario Provincial Police. Howard is busy on the family farm, trucking grain and working the fields. We choose to rent out our home for 1 year starting Nov 2017, so we will not be hosting for 2018. We love to ride our Spider motorcycle. Howard has had in the past a Harley and a Goldwing bike. I saw the spider and said "whoopee" I need to get a motorcycle licence too. I turned 60 and got my spider bike. Howard got a Jeep. So that's how we travel. Our RV pulls the Jeep and I ride the bike.
Howard can drive all kinds of trucks, tractors and lawnmowers .
We love pets and farm animals and will be travelling with our Yorkie named Blue.
We love country spots. Farms, fields and under trees. We have boondock at Walmart when traveling. We enjoy Florida for a couple of months in the winter. Our plan is to travel from one side of Canada to the other, then explore the United States. We have motorcycled through to Newfoundland, HWY # 1, down the Mississippi and the Blue Ridge Mountains. We love Boondockers Welcome. We have stayed at great places and have had great people stay with us from all over the world, including France and Switzerland last summer. Our plan is to do lots more boondocking this year.
We live on a farm close to the Grand River. We are about 30 minutes south of Hamilton. Small towns are all around us.

This couple are experiencing boondockers welcome to the fullest. Interesting travel stories from very organized respectful guests. Welcome back anytime, when its not so windy maybe and you can stay longer to explore the sights or just peace and quiet. Safe travels
Stayed at our place one night. Enjoyed meeting them and their cute dogs. Perhaps we will meet again someday.
Nice couple very courteous and easy to talk to.
Arrived early and left real early.
Maybe next time they can stay longer.
Howard and Cathy stayed only a couple of nights, but we enjoyed them being here. They tolerated a big dose of Southern-ness when we took them to a Bluegrass Homecoming Saturday afternoon.....they were good sports.
Howard and Cathy would be welcome anytime! ty
great folks, pleasure to have them stay, would welcome them back anytime
Cathy and Howard camped here for 3 days. Very good people and great new friends.
We stayed 2 nights last summer. Our kids loved their place and the animals! They spend a lot of time climbing a tree they still speak of a year after!!!
hlounsbu provided us with technical help for which we are very gratefull.
Thanks a lot!
Joyful, interesting, and kind! Both were fun to visit with and went way out of their way to provide us with a comfortable stay! I highly recommend as guest or host...any chance to meet them go for it! Thank you, thank! And hope to cross paths again. Take care until then,
We loved staying at this location. Hosts are very kind and the spot is a great setting among farming fields.
easy to find with the given instructions, and a nice quiet setting. when they saw our "small" van, we were offered to stay in their big luxury bus, what a neat thing that is! we had such a great night, and exchanged some nice ideas for future travels. thanks and all the best for your fulltime-adventure
Howard and Cathy are very friendly. We drove nearly from Montreal and were road exhausted. They met us at the roadside and welcomed us right in. Very quiet and serene. You will love their dog. TOO CUTE!
We stayed with Cathy and Howard for 2 nights last weekend and had a wonderful, quiet stay. They showed us their new RV and talked about future travel plans. We hope to cross paths again in the future. Thank you!
Stayed one quite and peace full night with friendly and gracious folks. Would recommend there hospitality to anyone in need of peace and quite. Not hard to find, just don't believe everything the gps tells you. Thanks you.
