retired 2012. own a roadtrek 210p and love to travel and boondock. my wife cindy and i built a cabin on a lake in hardy to get away from the big city. hardy is a very small town that is known for canoeing and rafting the spring river, and for trout fishing. and the lake has great fishing for perch, crappie, blue gill, catfish, and bass. we are pretty reserved people and like to be away from large crowds, and we enjoy the quiet solitude of remote and scenic outdoors. love meeting other rvers and trading stories of travels. if you are on your way through our neck of the woods and need a place to chill for a day or more, send us an email and we'll see if we can accomodate you. happy trails.
Am an apprentice at being retired, but I think I will be a fast learner. jack of all trades to some extent, expert of very little. sometimes i'm even handy.
BLM land out west, Wally World, southern utah, newfoundland, and beautiful scenic locations anywhere.
2006 Roadtrek 210 Popular. this thing has everything except room in it. but we no longer have to tow a car. Update: we now tow a smart car on certain trips for convenience.
We enjoyed having these folks stay with us. Pleasant, considerate and very helpful with advice and tips for our travels as RV newbies.
We stayed with Hardy Bob for two nights with our Chrysler T&C minivan camper while we took care of business in the area. They were very gracious hosts with whom we found many things in common, and wished we had known them when we lived in the area earlier. We really appreciated their hospitality and look forward to a continued friendship.
Wonderful hosts. They went out of there way to make us welcome. They have a nice concrete site in front of the RV garage that will accomodate most Class B or small Class C. Nice setting at a lake side cabin on a private lake. I hope them will allow us come again. Robert and Lori
