I'm a retired horse-trainer, current admin professional for a large research university. I love travel, love adventure, enjoy cooking, wine, the great outdoors and making friends around the world. My next chapter will include RV life.
I have been in St Louis most of my life, love it here, and can tell you all about the best spots to visit. I can also point you in the right direction for great hiking, biking, clubs and cool neighborhoods, rivers to paddle, etc.
I have two dogs who are my constant companions. The have traveled with me back and forth to Michigan for years and will do well as RV dwellers.
I live in a quiet suburb just outside of a business district and just west of downtown Saint Louis - a great historical city with a happening food scene, craft beer scene, beautiful garden district, great cycling paths and more. Saint Louis is built very similar to New York City and Central Park. We have Forest Park, home of the 1904 Worlds Fair, which is larger than Central Park. Downtown St. Louis borders the east end of FP; Clayton (the business district) and Washington University border the west side of the park. South of Forest Park are Shaw Gardens, The Grove, Tower Grove Park, and more. North of the park is The Delmar Loop, one of the top 10 walkable streets in the nation. Come check us out!!

Donna was a great host. Her neighborhood was private and quiet but close enough to the city for ready trips to museums, the arch, etc. We used both our RV and public transit to travel St Louis and both worked great. We didn't I have had this great family vacation without Donna's hospitality.
So glad to have met yet another like minded traveler. Donna was the perfect host, providing us with all we needed for a restful night after a long day of driving. Hope we can keep in touch and host her one day. MAYBE we will meet again one day. I sure hope so!
Wonderful location, fabulous host. This was our second stay - we'll be back again someday!
Enjoyed our conversations and tour of her bus conversion Very pleasant location with a wonderful host.
Doc and I had a wonderful time staying on her property. She gave us a list of things to do in St Louis which, was very helpful. I did a lot in one day and I had a wonderful time. She was very kind and helpful. Doc and I appreciate you letting us stay on your property. Thank you again
WOW! is all I can say. My wonderful host made me feel like a friend and that we’ve known each other for a long time. I felt very safe and secure surrounded by beautiful trees and night sounds. If I ever pass this way again I would definitely have to stay. I had a great experience.
We had a very nice welcome from our host. She is more then perfect and this circonstances like the covid, Thanks ! We had a very nice time and relax...Nice environment, with som many magnolias in this time of year. We will come back She likes red and white wine. So we have no choice to come with !
We spent the night at Donna’s after going up in the gateway arch . Donna was wonderfully accommodating. Our dog was able to run around in the fenced yard , and meet her retired greyhound
. Fun to hear about Donnas plan to build an RV ! We will stay in touch ! 😘
Donna was so welcoming and kind, what a lovely host! It was a great spot- off the street, so convenient to the highway and in a very nice residential area.
For YMCA members, the Mid-County Y is only about 10 minutes away for a quick workout and/or shower.
Donnakirk76 was very kind and accommodating to us even with our last minute booking. She let us plug our van in at night and gave us some great recommendations. Nice and safe area too!
Donna was very welcoming to us even on short notice. Her pups Dewey and Maybe were lovely! She allowed our dogs to run in her fenced yard, too. We've made a friend in Donna and we are grateful!
