I was an organic farmer. It was a family farm. I can speak English but I'm not excellent.
J'étais un producteur agricole biologique.
F-350 2012 Bigfoot 2001 camper with slide-out
We enjoyed a glass of wine along with cheese and crackers as well as some of Carols hot pepper jelly. Carol is working really hard on learning mor English and is an excellent sport!
It was an honor to host this lovely couple. They are welcome here anytime they need it.
Hopefully next time we won't be dealing with thunderstorms and tornado threats.
It was good to make new friends from Quebec. They travel in a truck camper like us and it was fun to compare truck campers and experiences. They are welcome back anytime.
Once again we had the pleasure of hosting Clauvie.
Both Claud and Carol are respectable, friendly and fun to know and share time with.
We hope they come back.
Claude stayed in contact en route, so we knew when to expect them. They required little assistance, just a power cord and a bucket of water to clean the salt and grime of the back door.
The pair was super friendly and offered us small gifts as a token of appreciation for the stay. They were a pleasure to have, and are always welcome at our house. I just wish the weather was better, and we had more time to visit! It was out first time hosting - these were great people with which to learn.
Clauvie and wife were our first second timers. Just stopped for the night on their way to warmer climes. We seem to be on the way to somewhere by our neighbors from the great white north. Thanks for the syrup. :)
Clauvie told us very interesting stories, friendly, great sense of humor, really enjoyed the visit.
Clauvie and wife stopped for a night on their way to warmer climates. Good guests they are welcome anytime.
Excellent people. Very interesting to speak with about different forms of agriculture in various areas and traveling. Very quiet, respectful of land and entertaining. Hope to visit them one day. Highly recommend anywhere!
They are a very nice couple and I enjoyed their stay here. I am sure you too will enjoy having them as guests.
Clauvie spent one afternoon and evening with us ... We enjoyed their interest and excitement. While touring The Grove, we exchanged our local farming knowledge and learned about his farm in Canada.. They were a fun couple, we would welcome them back anytime!
The host was very friendly and very helpful, and we had some nice chats
We stayed 2 nights and slept very well
We loved being here in this place
Thanks a lot
Mia & Clemens

We thank Cl.
Kind regards G&R from les pays bas.
We stay only for one night. We tot a warm welkome.
We only stayed one night and our host was so kind. So great to meet another traveler.
It was a very relaxing quiet visit other than the first night we did not see our host. We were quiet enough we got a bunch of laundry done and I got to quit smoking at this very relaxing spot. Thanks again to our host for being an awesome host sorry we didn't visit more.
Gens très sympathiques , accomodants , passionnés de culture bio et d'autos sports .
Bien situé, accès facile .
Première expérience comme guests très agréable , merci pour votre bel accueil !
Au plaisir de vous recevoir chez nous.
Clauvie was a great host. Met & showed us where to park, told us a little about organic farming and even gracious enough to share some fruit from his garden. Unfortunately he was not home when we left so merci, thank you very much!
What a congenial host!
Claude welcomed us to his farm with tales of his sailing adventures and RV trips to Mexico.
We shared stories about travel while Claudia practised his English and my wife practiced her French. What an enjoyable evening.
We highly recommend Claude's farm!
Claude met me on my arrival and got me situated. Easy spot, level, open. Very welcoming and friendly. His farm is about 3 minutes from the town of Nicolet which has everything you might need. It's also about 10 minutes from Becancour which is a charming town. Absolutely recommend a stay.
We had a very nice stay at Clauvie's. Nice level spot on the farm with horses across the street.
We were greeted warmly by our host, who shared his travel experiences and directed us to the local tourist info spot to get more info on where to find the sort of spots we hoped to visit.
Great place to stay!
We did not have a chance to thank Clauvie for allowing us to stay at his farm. Wonderful short visit with him. We talked a lot about his organic farm. Recommended stay. Thank you. Clauvie.
Clauvie is a lovely chap.
We dont speak French and really appreciate the effort Clauvie went to when welcoming us.
We had 15amp power and a beautiful grassed farm yard for our 2 year old to play with his dumper trucks and bike.
Clauvie had another couple stay while we were there so he really is doing his bit for the BDW community.
Thanks so much
We really enjoyed our 2 night stay with Clauvie , they put us in a great spot beside the tool shed and close to electric outlet. They surprised us with a strawberry cheesecake with candles to help celebrate our 53 th wedding anniversary. We sat at the kitchen table and traded camping and travel stories. Even though we speak no French they went out of their way to communicate with us. Highly recommend.
We received a warm welcome at Clauvie's and had a perfect stay. It was a pleasure to meet those passionnates travelers. We recommand them as hosts.
Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement chez Clauvie et avons passé un séjour parfait. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à connaître ces passionnés de voyage. Nous les recommandons comme hôtes sans hésiter.
This was my first Boondocking experience on my first ever RV trip. Claude was an exceptional host. He provided water and a 15 Amp hookup as advertised. Claude helped this newbie backing into the site. Claude helped with our departure the next morning as well. The location is lovely and I would highly recommend it.
Thanks for a great first BW stay! Friendly, considerate host, lovely property in a pretty area with lots to do. Tourism Information Centre nearby has free dump station, garbage disposal and water. We would happily have stayed longer if we could!
It was our first experience with boondockers and we had a good time at Clauvie's place. Claude knew how to make us feel welcome and had very good tips to discover the area. Thanks again !
Our short stay was thoroughly enjoyable. Our host greeted us on arrival and was most accommodating.
Claude is a great host with a wonderful spot to stay. Thank you for your kindness!
Claude was very gracious and acommodating! He even gave us zucchini from his garden! Thanks so much Claude!
We have stayed about 4 days at Clauvie's place and enjoyed every minutes of our stay. Our hosts were very helpful in providing us a lot of information about activities in their surrounding. We definitly recommend staying at Clauvie's place if you happened to travel close by.
Thank's again and congratulation about your Mustangs....
Claude was a very nice host. We sat in his garden and drank a beer together. Lots of space to put our RV.
Our host took us to the Nicolet Park to see the sun set over the St Lawrence. What a treat! They also gave us directions for local shopping. They were very gracious and their farm was quiet, with easy access. We hope to host them in Az.
it was a pleasure meeting you and we enjoyed our stay with you. Hope to see you again when we are on our way home.
Claude was so welcoming and kind towards our family!
He showed us where the nearby gas and dump stations were, gave us electricity hook up and somewhere to top up water, he also gave some great RV recommendations on places to visit.
The kids loved Claude and he showed Oliver his classic car, took him on a tractor ride and even played hide and seek.
He let the children play with his kittens and also gave us a loaf of bread.
What a generous and welcoming host!
Looking forward to hosting Claude when he visits the UK! :-)
Clauvie was a wonderful host, and Clauvie you English is just fine! Nice place to stop, easy to find and get in and out of.
i stayed a couple of days and had a great time..relaxed and shared special travel moments...you can do some bicycling..thanks ..merci
This was my first stay at a place from this club and am very pleased with the experience. I was traveling between Ontario and Prince Edward Island and this was a perfect spot to spend the night on route. Staying with Clauvie isn't really hard core Boondocking, water and electricity are available if you want it, at least when I was at the farm and was the only one there. Clauvie took time to give me a great tour of the organic farm (mostly grains for future seed) and I learned a lot from him. The place to park is very nice, well off the road and between farm buildings. With Clauvie's direction I was able to back my 5er into place with relative ease and I'm not that confident yet with backing up my rig. Clauvie says his English isn't great but it is much better than my French. We had great conversations about RVing and farming.
We stayed at Clauvie's farm last August for one night. He was very accommodating and introduced us to all of his kittens. He owns an organic farm and the stay was very peaceful. We are very thankful for his hospitality and also his quick response to our messages. C'est tres bien!
We stayed with Clauvie on very short notice - he was so kind to have us! He even offered us a hose & turned on the water for us - he had it off for the winter already. He is an organic farmer and his farm was such a beautiful spot to wake up. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area :)
Merci beaucoup Clauvie!
This is a beautiful place along highway 132. We were well received by Claude and he gave us different choices to park our RV. We felt very safe and it was very quiet. Claude's directions to get to his place were very clear and was easy to find.
We stayed over night. Very nice people. The farm is located right off the main road so easy to find. Peaceful place.
The very nice host took time for us and gave us many useful informations. We really appreciated that. Thank you.
