Husband is a retired college administrator now a seasonal boat captain and lifelong sailor and private plane pilot and wife is a physical therapist with varied interests that DO NOT include cooking:-)
Husband is a French Canadian ( fluent in french) who grew up on an Island off of Portland , Maine and has been on the water all of his life...it is a compromise to RV for a year so we would love to have the opportunity to rent or borrow kayaks or canoes while traveling. He has a lot of knowledge about the Portland and Acadia Park areas. He is also a small plane pilot ( Cessna 172).
Wife is a physical therapist finishing up her doctorate; speaks O.K. Spanish and enough German , French and Italian to order a beer and find a toilet; has knowledge of the Bangor area and also loves the water, couponing, art, and antiquing. Also very involved with the V.F.W. and many local service projects.
Husband is very handy. Wife is creative and knows about art and auction opportunities near by.
We love Maine and all it has to offer. We are drawn to water of all types as evidenced by the boats, kayaks and canoes at our home.
24 foot Winnebago diesel class C. We may have a small bumper cargo carrier and bikes on the back so the total length may be more like 26 feet . We have 1 slide out but can sleep fine without opening it up if space is tight.
We would love to have George and Allison back anytime they are in the area. Hopefully one of these days we'll be able to visit their beautiful area.
Georges and Allison were wonderful guests and they will be welcome anytime. Easy going and low key...looking forward to visiting them in Maine!
