No loud parties please, or excessive drinking allowed on the property. Common respect for our neighbors and land owner is required. Please respect quiet hours from 10pm -8am.

I’m good with tools and repairs. I know a good bit about Pennsylvania’s State Forests and Parks. and recreation areas.
I have broad general knowledge. I know of many local repair garages and hardware, propane services.
I have a solid electrical background and experience with some solar applications.
I do have an outside cat. Rarely seen by others. Certainly NOT a travel pet.

I live on what is our little Farm outside Millheim and Coburn, PA very close to the premier trout stream that is Penns Creek. In Centre County, PA I’ve lived here since 1973. Bald Eagle State Forest is less than a mile. We are no longer actively farming this land. Our adjacent neighbors are all farmers. Bicycling paradise in rolling hills and on railroad trails, mountain biking, hiking and canoeing, fishing, hunting country of the central Allegheny Mountains. coffee shops, bakeries, grocery and hardware stores within 3 miles. My campsites have beautiful views of the Seven Mountains area and mountain gaps and hollow, fields and farms. We are centrally located in the middle of nowhere. It’s very beautiful here in Ridge and Valley Pennsylvania. I think you will love it if you are used to being a self contained camper. 25 miles east of State College Pa. and Penn State University. 34 miles west of Lewisburg and Bucknell University.

A beautiful secluded spot, remote and quiet, up a long and winding road. RangerForest is kind, generous, welcoming, helpful, and so knowledgeable not just about this area but about everything! Can’t wait to return.
Was the perfect location and host but just not enough time to explore and soak in all there’s to offer.
Greatly appreciated the incredible knowledge RangerForest had to offer and hope to visit again for a couple more days when I pass through again.
We really enjoyed the stay! A bit of a trek to get there, but excellent directions given. Beautiful area and helpful hospitable host. We would highly recommend.
This beautiful spot can be found at the end of a windy gravel road but is worth the effort. RangerForest is an knowledgeable host who gave us great insight about the nature of his idyllic spot. We will definitely be back!
Quiet private place to stop. Lovely view of the hills and a great breeze made for good sleeping. Very thorough and attentive host.
A change in our plans required us to stay just one night rather than the two we originally requested. The hosts was very accommodating and met us at the entrance to their street. They hosts had set up outdoor chairs by the fire pit and picnic table for our use. The view was beautiful as the leaves were still in full color. The area had plenty of open space to walk our dogs. I would visit again!
