My husband Glenn is a Charter Boat Skipper and fishing guide and I am a Remote Area Nurse. We are on a 3 month Canada RV holiday, specifically looking at Fishing lakes and rivers for Trout and Salmon (to keep Glenn happy) and for me to see and experience the beauty of a Canadian Fall. I want to walk though parks and be knee-deep in glorious red and yellow and orange Autumn Leaves. We started in Whitehorse in the Yukon on 19th August and are now in Montreal for our final 4 weeks. We only stumbled across Boondockers Welcome now and are spending a fortune in RV parks on the Eastern states of Canada.
We are grandparents to 4 various grandchildren and have 2 daughters and 2 sons.
I play the Mandolin and Ukelele ( but dont have either with me). Glenn loves fishing and is keep to talk all night about fishing.
We have left our pets back in Australia and recently had to bury our little old Jack Russell Terrier , Nuggett.
We only have a couple of weeks left to discover Quebec and see the Colours of a Canadian Fall.
Our home is in Narooma, NSW, Australia, on the south eastern seaboard in a little fishing village. Its very lovely but unfortunately we are both adrenaline junkies and have been travelling around Australia on a working holiday which began 12 years ago. Remote Area Nurses are in demand and Glenns talents in the building trade as well as around boats has always secured him a good job. For the past 8 years we have taken on contracts in a very remote Aboriginal Community called Maningrida in Arnhemland in the Northern Territory, (5,000 kms from home in Narooma). I also make documentaries of our adventures and travels. This is our Adventure Before Dementia in Canada.
Privately Rented for 4 weeks through RVEZY. Four Winds International RV. Model 28A. Ford "Chateau Sport" . Length: 29' Height: 10'8" Width: 80" interior
Sorry for the delay in leaving you feedback... Better late than never!
You are welcome to come back any time.
We were happy to host Pam and Glenn. It was very interesting hearing about their adventures. We recommend them as guests and hope to see them in Australia someday.
We had an excellent time hosting this lovely couple for three days. Was great to get to meet them and hear about all the amazing experiences they lived. We felt very lucky to cross there path and wish to get a chance to see them again in a close futur.
