My wife JoAnn and I have done extensive bicycle touring, carrying our tent and other gear on the bikes. We recently bought a small camper and are having a great time. We remain cyclists, hikers, runners, and now campers.
Woodworker, help with your bicycles. I am a jack of all trades.
We have a very sweet dog, Lucy. Every person she meets becomes her new best friend. She is an English Pointer and Beagle mix and she rarely barks. We bought the camper in large part to allow her to travel with us.
This is all new to us, so no locations yet.
Washington, New Jersey, which is located in the northwestern corner of the state, near the Delaware Water Gap. Our house is located on a mountain top which is reached by a winding road. We would recommend campers under 20" due to a railroad overpass that may be difficult for bigger rigs.
Flagstaff which is 15' from tail to hitch. It is solar equipped, but on extended cloudy days, we would need to run the generator for a few hours each day. We tow with a Ford 150
R & J were excellent hosts taking us on a gorgeous 40 mile bike ride followed by an evening of chatting with an amazing dinner and dessert. The site was perfect, quiet and peaceful. We look forward to going back again!!
We had a wonderful experience at Stone Row. Our hosts were so very hospitable! We were lucky to be invited to share a delicious meal that they prepared, which included home made pasta! We thoroughly enjoyed talking with them and would love to go back some time. They also were happy to host our dogs. Their dog is a peach.
