Steve’s a recently retired (2017) Navy civilian worker. We live on a small (6 acre) family organic “farm” but, it’s been our dream to see this beautiful U.S.A. once he retired so we’re doing that now. This will be our 2nd trip, the first being for 4 months in 2017.
We’ve varied hobbies & interests-travel, sailing, hiking, gardening, sewing, etc. As Steve says, “How did I ever hold a job? I’m busier now than when I worked!”
We’re looking forward to seeing this lovely country we’re blessed to live in and meeting a lot of different people in our travels!
Steve can fix almost anything & has installed solar on our golf cart & RV. I love to sew & am currently refurbishing the curtains, etc in our rig. I also love to decorate, refinish furniture, bake & cook.
We loved Sixth Sigma vineyard near Calistoga, CA. Lovely to walk, had home grown meats & other food stuffs to buy.
Another was BLM land in Arizona, Kota-King of Arizona. Kofa national wildlife refuge.
Poulsbo, WA is home base which is on the Puget Sound, a ferry ride away from Seattle. Poulsbo is a small Norwegian town where a lot of tourists visit.
Fully contained 24’ Fleetwood Tioga Monterra. No tow vehicle.
