Great Host, adventurous stay!

We really enjoyed meeting our host and he was very accommodating in providing 110 power and water. We felt very safe and comfortable in the parking spot provided and it was nice and quiet and we awoke to the sweet sounds of birds chirping.

Had a little problem when leaving that was unexpected due to our not taking a wide enough swing when pulling out and our RV got stuck in the mud. Our host was wonderful in helping is out by providing a shovel and lots of boards and we were able, thankfully, to get out without needing to call for a tow truck.

It was truly an adventure and we were thankful we were able to get out because things could have been worse. We will most certainly return to Howells Acres in the future the next time we're this way.

Wonderful host and nice spot, highly recommended! Take a wide turn if the ground is wet. 😀 Thanks Howells Acres for the adventure!

Wonderfull texas hospitality

Private site with 15amp and water hookups. Safe location. Very accommodating and friendly hosts. Firm, level, grassy site. We were able to park our trailer and set up quick even after a hard rain earlier that day. We enjoyed our brief stay and hope to return some day.
