Interested in travel especially by motorcycle or sailboat. Or, of course our Roadtrek. We bought it in the spring of 2013 after retirement and after some shakedown trips left for Prudhoe Bay, AK via Yellowstone Park. Had a great time and like RV camping much better than tenting by the motorcycle we've been travelling on for the past many years. Looking to meet people with similar (or different) interests. So far it's been a very good experience hosting and visiting Boondocker's Welcome members.
Sailing, long distance motorcycling. Iron Butt Association. Graphic designer, owned a Printing Co. for 35 years. Mechanical ability and tools - mostly motorcycle related. Also bicycling and particularly recumbents.
Cat, older Tonkenese.
Deadhorse, AK, almost any fishing dock in Labrador and any of the Boondockers Welcome members we've had the pleasure of staying with.
Windsor, Ontario Wauchula, Florida
Roadtrek 170 Just about the smallest full facility motorhome in existence. Even fits in a McDonalds parking spot! We looked long and hard to find it. Suits our travels.
We enjoyed having Bobmunden. It's fun to have someone you wished could stay longer.
Bob and a friend of him stopped for one night. They are very guys and are welcome back any time. Bob sure has special topics to talk about, like his hobby driving motorcycle on long distances.
Bob and Lynn stayed at our place back in June. They were our first guests! They were a wonderful, friendly couple who we enjoyed meeting and talking with. They are welcome to come and stay anytime. Great people! Thanks.
Bob & Lynn were our first boondockers from this website and they serve as a strong endorsement for what this site is intended to foster. Great guests with a keen sense for when to socialize and when to allow us our privacy. We shared a meal together and they were a perfect delight to have for an overnight stay. They're welcome back any time.
Wonderful couple, a pleasure to meet. Would be happy to host again anytime! Safe travels!
Great folks! Their visit turned into a homeschool lesson on the history of Boxing Day! Hope we get to Canada one day!
Very nice, friendly couple. They were very informative and with recommendations on travel. Would recommend them to stay with anyone. No problems whatsoever. Very considerate.
This was our last stop before crossing over to the U.S. to head south for the winter. Our hosts had all the amenities we needed to confidently embark on our adventure. They went above and beyond with their hospitality and we thoroughly enjoyed all the great travel and motorcycle stories, tour of their adorable rig, and tips for enjoying the area while we were there. Thank you so much for letting us stay with you and we hope to visit again next year!
We had a perfect stay! Great conversation, sharing in each others adventures, over wine on their back patio. A lovely couple who could not be more accommodating. Thank you very much and I hope we meet again.
My husband and I spent a night with Bob on our way to Niagara falls and Toronto. We had a great afternoon with good talking, very helpful travelling tips and great company. He and his wife have a lovely home and ample space to park in a nice neighbourhood near Lake St Claire. He graciously supplied water and electricity and offered his BBQ to us to use. We really enjoyed our time there and would recommend staying there. Bob is well travelled throughout North America and has lots of interesting stories to tell. Thank you for accommodating us!
Bob and Lynn were great helpful hosts! We had an enjoyable evening in their lovely back yard sharing our travel experiences. They provided excellent advice on everything from the local Detroit/ Windsor area to their Alaska trips. I hope our paths cross again some day. Thanks again Bob and Lynn.
My sister and I boondocked at Bob and Lynn. We felt very very welcome They were so helpful . Our conversations were very interesting and helpful for our first experience with my van Anne Marie and I are waiting for you!
