When we are not on the road we love to call Utah home.

Salt Lake City, UT
We have a 2018 Thor Palazzo. It is 34 “11 in length. Self contained with 2,040 watts of solar. Our tow vehicle is a Jeep Cherokee.
Awesome spot with easy access to Salt Lake City and surrounding areas. Our hosts were super accommodating and gave us some great recommendations of things to do (and eat!) In the area.
Roaming Free was very welcoming and helped us park on the side of the road near their driveway. We were able to fill water and hook up to 50Amp which was great! They are very close to downtown Salt Lake City and so a great starting point for sight-seeing.
It is a busy street for pedestrians so a lot of people will walk by your front door during the day. Can be loud during the day for cars but no issues with noise after 9pm until about 7am when morning commute begins for locals.
Overall, great stay and would stay again if in the area :)
Very kind and generous people. They made sure I was comfortable, offered all amenities and I could text or call anytime and got a response promptly. Some time to chat as well. SLC is more on the relaxed side of cities that I have been to and you find all you need in close proximity from here. I can't thank them enough for having me and hope to come back or even meet on the road soon. SAFE travels!
Very friendly hosts, perfect location to visit the area of Salt Lake City! The spot is on the side of the road, but it’s a very quiet area and we slept very well!!
Our hosts were kind enough to allow us to stop in and park on the property with short notice. Perfect location for a quick trip to the slopes! It was a short but pleasant stay! Thank you so much!
I was a little concerned at first because the spot is right on the street, rather than in a driveway.
But the neighborhood was very quiet with little traffic, especially at night, and I slept great the whole time.
The spot is very convenient.
Five minutes from food, planet fitness, camping supplies, groceries, and the freeway.
And it's fifteen minutes from downtown.
The host was very friendly, pleasant, welcoming, laid back, and easy to talk to.
Nice welcome from Brandon even though it was raining and we chatted outside. Stayed 2 nights at the location. It was very quiet. Close to many services (grocery, shops, restaurants) and skiing.
Will come back again for sure.
