Do you know or have you hosted this user?

We are a family of two nature enthusiasts who love to travel and meet friends. We enjoy hiking, biking and campervan life. We have 2 dogs, approximately 15 pounds, that travel with us. We are RNs that love to live life to the fullest. Our small "homestead" of less than 2 acres boasts a garden, chickens and honey bees. We are grateful to have the ability to explore the country, nature and meet people.

Favorite people

I just adore this couple and their pups. They are polite, considerate, responsible, they love their dogs, they are just classy people. They will always have a spot on my driveway. This was their second visit and hopefully not their last. I guess it’s now my turn to visit them. Can not wait!

Come back soon!

What a delightful couple! Very cautious to not overstep boundaries as Boondockers. They gave me a tour of their lovely conversion and we ended up chatting over a bottle of wine while our pups got to meet each other. A very enjoyable evening and would have gladly had them stay longer. JoshDee, thank you for your support and encouragement. Safe travels home, you got out of STL just in time to miss huge snowflakes!! You are welcome at my place anytime!

Small town quiet and what beautifuls gardens!

Our hosts provided us with all the information we needed in the event that we arrived at their place before they got home. As it turned out, they beat us there anyway - but with the info we had we were able to get set up in no time. We met them a short while later while taking our dog for a walk and had a nice chat with them. Very friendly folks and so nice! We had a great stay and were able to chat briefly on our way out in the morning.

Staying at JoshDee's

This was our first Boondocker experience and it was wonderful! Josh and Dee have the perfect spot with easy hookup, pretty view of the garden, and a fire pit! Our hosts were very gracious and welcoming. Thank you Dee for the homemade rhubarb cake!

Great place to stay

Wonderful hosts! They have put a lot of effort into making a nice level, stoned parking pad with accessible electric and water. Nice view of their garden and a large several acre neighbor's mowed yard. Quiet, peaceful night.
I was very interested in seeing their converted Ford Van camper and they graciously gave us a tour.

Overnight homestead

This host couple was very accommodating when we made a same day request to stay with them. They are a hardworking and ambitious pair who love nature and traveling. We were even treated to a tour of their converted Ford Transit, which was very homey and well done. We had a peaceful night and great conversation in the morning before we left.

Beautiful Homestead Habitat

Josh & Dee, great hosts. Enjoyed hours of conversation around their firepit last night, while social distancing. Multiple small garden plots of a large variety of vegetables, which they offered to us in abundance. Fresh & delicious. They even gave us fresh eggs from their home raised chickens. Josh showed me how he extracts the honey that their bees make. We bought a jar of the honey, yum! When following GPS, caution, Their street is small and almost hidden between two houses. Drive slowly, we almost missed it. Worth the stop. Easy to back in or drive in to the RV parking spot, pretty level. Good ATT signal.
