Country couple who enjoy hard work and decadent rest! Our acreages provide us with peace and quiet after a day's work. Our blessings are to be shared with others and we look forward to doing just that!
Campfire building and enjoying, charcoal grilling all year round, excellent conversations, adventure guide of our portion of Route 66 including safely showing you sights unseen by most travelers!
Rescue dogs x4, all safely tucked in their own kennels with heat and a/c. Only the smaller two travel with us but then only on overnighters.
We love our place the most!
Just right here nearby, Bridgeport, Oklahoma
2001 Ford F-350 pulling 2018 solitude by grand design
We were a little concerned that our bedroom was 18ft from Rte 66 but we slept well. Clean bathrooms and great host.
Thank you Carol and Danny for continuing to make our trip a fun adventure! Thanks for helping us build a fire. Communication was easy and you were ready for our us for our sunset arrival. In the morning there was a beautiful sunrise lifting the night storm clouds. Cute place and nice warm showers.
Small family owned campground with large pull through and back in sites. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. Upon arrival we asked where the nearest place to buy ice as we needed to defrost our fridge. They brought us a bag of ice and a cooler to use while our fridge defrosted! Would highly recommend if you are passing through the area.
First time was so positive we stayed again on our way back home. Very quiet and restful night. Thanks for the stay
We had a great stay. The park is clean a has a very safe and welcoming atmosphere. The owners welcomed us and we had great conversation. The neighbors were nice and had nothing but great things to say about the place. I will go out of our wY to stay here again.
This was my first ever Boondockers Welcome, and I am so thankful that it went above and beyond my expectations! The site was clean, grassy, and the hosts were very welcoming. 10 of out 10 would recommend this place to friends and family.
It is almost like an oasis and very well maintained. Even though it's right off Route 66, it was very peaceful and not much noise from road traffic. If you're looking for a nice place to stay a couple nights then I highly recommend this location.
Great folks!! Wonderful place, very welcoming and quiet. Will stop again if in area.
What a great little oasis along Route 66. Carol was there to meet us and we had full hookups with a beautiful view across freshly plowed OK fields. It was far enough from I-40 to have very faint traffic noice in the distance.
We loved our stay here and really hope that we have the chance to return at some point! The hosts were great.
We loved this park! Owner was friendly as well as other campers staying there. Park is clean and well kept and easy access from the highway. It’s right on Route 66, which is what we wanted since we are traveling that route.
The owners were very accommodating since we had an issue with our truck and had to come in a day later. Highly recommended!
Your Route 66 friends from Ohio!
Never knew Route 66 was such a small road. Danny filled us in on a little of it’s history. Very nice overnight stay.
We stayed overnight in this great little park. Full hookups, level space, and a really clean bathroom with a shower for $3. There is also a laundry that I would have used if I’d had a load. The hosts stopped by to welcome us and were super friendly! It was fun to stay right on old Route 66😊
It was easy to find and we were able to get one of the pull through spots, which was nice. It was also nice that we were able to have full hookups and all could be easily reached. The owner came and talked to us for a little bit and was really friendly and answered any questions I had. Definitely would stay here again.
Great find off of old Route 66. Both Carol and Danny were extremely kind and helpful. The site is exceptionally clean and easy to find.
They are located between two wheat fields, so being that I have Celiacs we didn’t stay long. :(. The country side is beautiful though!
Definitely five stars on this place!!!
Spent one restful night on our trip back home. Very level spot and super clean site. Highly recommended!
We loved our one night stay here! We were able to take showers, do laundry, and stay with full hookups in a safe and welcoming environment. The sites are level and the hosts are friendly and helpful. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely be back!!!
Quite a powerful storm came by with strong winds, heavy rain and lightning. Nice to know the campground had a storm shelter. Great place to stay.
Clean well managed place. Had everything we needed and more, even laundry facilities.
Very happy with the accommodations. Nice quiet location. 20/30/50 amp, water, and sewer at each site. Very gracious and friendly hosts. Highly recommend!
Cleanest, neatest campground we've stayed at.
Manicured grounds, new fully operational facilities. Electrolux washer dryer!
Lovely surroundings, wide open field and sky, on a historic portion of route 66. Fireworks in the distance.
Beautiful sunsets, full hook ups and a great little bath house with laundry. Plus easy on and off I40.
The perfect resting spot for two nights. Thanks
We were late arriving, but she was waiting for us,
Held a nice pull through site, long enough to accommodate our toad.
Would like to stay there anytime going through
Carol was a wonderful host who was very accommodating even after our late arrival .
Would loved to have had time to check out the surrounding area the next day but needed to roll on
What a delightful two day stay we had. The hosts could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The park had everything you could want for a relaxing stay. We will definitely stay here on our next trip through.
After driving all day we were exhausted. Carol responded very quickly and allowed us a place to crash for the night WITH hookups!!! Cute little place, very friendly people! We will definitely stop by if we are ever in the area again.
We had a very nice stay. It's right on Historis Rt 66 next to wheat fields. Quiet. Very friendly hosts with great amenities.
The hosts are the most gracious and accommodating folks you'll ever meet and the facility is clean and well kept. The views are wonderful and it is right off the I-40 so it's very convenient. I've stayed here several times and have loved every minute of my stays.
Danny was very hospitable and welcoming even though it was in the evening, and later than we had anticipated arriving. We appreciated the dark sky and quiet stay, since we had just come from a bright and noisy stay at a Cracker Barrel. Thank you for the hospitality!
What a gem this camp is. It is a small campground that they have been fixing up and having it on Boondockers was such a great option for us. I had booked it about a month out and was able to send messages to Carol and Danny if I had questions or changes. It was also great to have contact on our way in and get insight on what directions to take. Follow their directions on here and it will get you there perfectly and you get to travel on a piece of history. The RV park is small and located right on old Route 66. It was so peaceful and super easy to navigate in and out of with our big rig. There is a laundry room, bathroom and showers and it seemed they also had a storm shelter for guests just in case. Danny was sitting on the porch when we got there. After we parked I just went and checked in with him, which was pretty much saying welcome as they already had all our info. Our dogs loved walking around the wide open spaces around the camp. I hope to stop longer next time to actually explore the surrounding area and a little bit more of Route 66! Thank you Carol and Danny for such a great place to put our feet up for the night!
Beautiful place in the middle of wheat fields! Very friendly and easy. Will be back again if we come through the area!!
Quiet little campground situated directly on historic Route 66 and a quick drive off Interstate 40. The full hookups for a small fee were a great bonus.
Owners are very gracious and keep making upgrades including a shower and laundry.
A perfect stop for a relaxing two nights on our trip out west.
Would highly recommend for the amenities, location, beautiful views and friendly hosts.
What a nice stop on our way West. They are a small family owned campground and offer dry camping or hookups for a small fee. They were super nice and very helpful directing us to local restaurant and attractions. We hope they can stop by our place on their next trip to Florida!
Had a great stay, sites were very nice pretty level and the owner was as nice as could be. We would stay there again. May 2012
The hosts were very nice and hospitable. Camp sites are well groomed and level. Very convenient to have access to full hookups. Thank you for letting us stay with you.
We are at the tail end of a six week trip & headed home. We stopped here for one night. They responded to my request to stay very quickly and accommodated our late evening arrival. The lady met us when we pulled in and was super nice & welcoming. The location is super convenient right off of I-40. We will definitely stay here again!
Our second stay with Territory Route 66! Fun to see the improvements they have made in the past year! Enjoyed the quiet location and their new shower building!!
This Boondocking stop is what every RVer dreams of. This is a full fledged, state of the art RV Park. A no-hookup parking spot is really free for members but we happily paid the $15 donation for a full hookup. Our congenial host is really going the extra mile to provide a wonderful, widely spaced RV Park with fresh crushed rock driveways and pads. A new laundry/shower room (with a modest fee) even includes a working but ancient tornado shelter that the owner played in as a child. Easy access from I-40 with spacious views across ripening wheat fields and vivid sunsets and sunrises. The interstate is visible but too distant to hear. An original strip of old Rt 66 passes in front and is a small "history of the roads" lesson all on its own. Definitely will put Territory 66 on our favorites list.
The hosts own a well maintained RV park just off of I-40 and are kind enough to offer it to BW guests. I enjoyed meeting the hosts around a campfire and had a well rested night
First of all, the couple who owns this RV Park is SUPER nice and friendly! The grounds are really well-maintained and clean. They provide water, electric, trash, dumping and stations. They even have free WiFi, bathrooms, showers for $3, and washer/dryer for $3. Plus there are great views of big open, grassy fields. We would DEFINITELY stay there again!
Great stop along Route 66 (and I-40). New and nice facilities. Very handy on and off of I-40. Nice chatting with the proprietor and other campers.
We really enjoyed our overnight. Great hosts and interesting folks camping as well. We were accommodated on short notice and felt very welcome. Thanks!
This was a great spot for an overnight stay. Can’t beat the price for full hookups and super clean bathroom and showers. We will definitely stay here again when back in the area.
Our second boondockers experience was great at Territory Route 66. We hope to have the chance to stop again some time.
Very well maintained, easy access right off I-40. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Quiet and peaceful. We would stay here again without question.
TR66 is a small RV park right on Historic Route 66 with a special rate for BDWers. The camp host was very helpful in getting us set up and checked on us later to see if we needed anything. There is little traffic at night on 66, so it was quiet. We did laundry for $3 for wash and dry in large load new machines. The laundry area was clean. Very nice. While there we checked out the nearby Pony Bridge. We had a great lunch at a recommended cafe in town. We were there for 2 nights and would return if we were in the area again.
There were approximately 20 sites occupied and it was very quiet. Washer, dryer, and showers available if you need them ($3/load/shower. ) Would definitely recommend.
Nice stay! Off the beaten path yet close enough to jump in. TerritoryRoute66 is just what we needed. Has everything an RVer needs including a SuperHost! We were there just overnight as we were passing through. Well maintained and easy access. The #1 recommendation for dining was spot on in Hinton. If you’re on RT66 in Oklahoma west of Oklahoma City, request a stay and enjoy tranquility!
This was the perfect place to stop on our way west. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We went with the full hookups which for $15 were a bargain. Showers, laundry, bathroom. Perfect.
The hosts are very nice and the spot was peaceful. We were in need of affordable hookups for the night and this spot was perfect! And super easy to get to. A short distance from the interstate and right off of route 66. Will definitely stay again!
Very nice quite new campground. We Boondocker the first night at no charge and decided to hook up and park the special Boondocker‘s welcome fee of $15. We visited red rock canyon. Unfortunately it had some damage from the recent ice storm. Be careful once you get onto Route 66 going down the first hill to the campground the patch in the road is like a speed bump. There are several other areas that are very rough on the road and you need to go slow. The campground had very nice showers and laundry equipment. It was only three dollars per load which included washing and drying. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.
This was our first stay with BW. An Awesome experience. A very peaceful, restful night. Our host greeted us and made us feel very welcomed.
This is a peaceful place to spend a night or two if you want to explore Oklahoma City. We chose to boondock, but it's very nice to have the option of full hookups. The showers are extremely spacious, and the laundry machines are top notch! The hosts were out of town, but the folks who came by to check on things were very pleasant. We could tell the hosts have a lot of love and passion for this gem of a spot.
Such lovely scenery with a gorgeous sunset, and it was just the beginning. The host was amazing. I had a dead battery and she was going to run get her jumper cables, but thought to ask another, longer term camper and I was quickly back on the road. But wait! Two days later, after I was long up I-40, she calls me to make sure I was ok since I was having vehicle issues. The host is just one of several special and unsung heroes on my journey from Tucson to Southern Missouri.
The host site is an inviting minimalistic campground offering full electric, water and sewer for a $15/night charge which is quite a deal. It is a quiet location just minutes off of I-40. It was perfect for our travels. Thank you!
Good place to stop for a short stay. Very inexpensive for full hookups.
Awesome stop on our way to the Grand Canyon... just what we needed.
Wow! Warm and welcoming Hosts and a choice of 4 camping sites that were level with all new electric pedestals, and new frost guarded water connections. FHU!
Yes we drove right off Route 66 pavement onto our site and shut off the motor.
Our Hosts ensured we had everything we needed and we look forward to seeing them again. Definitely will recommend them and there piece of “real” history. Thanks for all you’ve done to make our lives better on Route 66!
Territory Route 66 is a beautiful small campground right off of the interstate! The owners were so kind and accommodating even with our later than planned arrival! We are so thankful for a good nights rest after driving through all of the road work on i40. The sites are large and easy to pull into from the road. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!
Quick and easy place to pull in for the night. They had a pay shower on sight that my husband used and said was good. We left in the morning so we didn’t spend much time. Everything was as we expected.
Great place , FH, much needed rest for us. Wish we could stay longer but the storm of the century is on our tail.
This is a very pleasant location, with amazing views! The owners are very welcoming and attentive, even for our last minute (a couple hours) arrival. Everything worked out perfectly! We definitely would stay again if we get back to this area!
This is a great place to stay if you need to rest your head on a road trip. They were so great to communicate with and you can tell that they just love what they do! They were full for the night but they allowed me to dry dock which was wonderful as I did get access to their Wi-Fi. Highly recommend staying here and I hope to do so again someday soon.
This is such a perfect little spot. The hosts are very friendly and it has everything you need. We will definitely be staying again soon.
Quick and easy stopping place for the night. We would definitely stay again if our path leads us this way again.
Amazing small little camp ground off route 66. Hosts were top notch and very friendly. Highly recommend!!
It’s a quiet no frills stay on Route 66. The owners were friendly the spots are wide and deep. We enjoyed our stay!
Very sweet people. Very helpful. Beautiful spot to stay. This is a nice clean quite and we'll kept place. We Will be back.
Thank you for having us!
Very peaceful desert stop in small quiet RV park. Convenient to i40 but far enough away to avoid highway noise. Quite a bit of space between slips and the host was welcoming.Highly recommend for a good night's sleep.
After Boondocking at mostly rest stops and store parking lots for a week it was awesome to have hook ups and WiFi for such a reasonable price. First time using a BoonDockers Welcome host and look forward to doing it again!
The host were lovely. They greeted us the minute we pulled into their park and made sure we had everything that we needed. This is a small park that had everything we needed including very friendly guest. Be sure to see the Pony Bridge if you stay here!
Great place to stay. Friendly and very helpful. Chose the wrong time for weather everything froze during the night. But it was a quiet convenient place to stop
We had a wonderful time here! It was so quiet. The campground was beautiful and well taken care of. Thank you so much for having us!
Our second time at this campground. Lovely spot, quiet, wonderful people run it. Would stay here again.
TerritoryRoute66 is a great place to stop through. Wonderful down to earth hosts with all the amenities you need. They let me stay an extra day even though they were getting really full. Not only did they take care of me, they send me off with a bag of home grown tomatoes and a Hersey Chocolate Bar. What else can I say but WOW!.
If you guys are passing through Oklahoma, I would definitely stay here! Very convenient location. Be ready for Oklahoma winds though.
First time with boondockerswelcome.com and the experience was excellent, not to mention the care and welcoming of the hosts.
A friendly owner/host who graciously worked with us, got to know us, but yet was respectful of our time.
Quiet little park right on Rt. 66 that brought back many memories from decades ago traveling this road. As we drove along, the pah-dunks sturred those memories afresh!
One of those places we are sure to stop in again.🤠 🤗
Territory 66 was super-convenient to Hwy40, on historic Route 66. Brand new, very clean facilities (showers, toilets, laundry). Our hosts were gracious and kind and even left us a bocce ball game for our grandchildren to play with. We very much enjoyed this park! Thank you!
We went to bed at 9:00 hoping for a good night’s rest but unfortunately, the moron next to us tied his dog to the water faucet and let it bark until 10:30. Have you ever noticed that barking dog owners are deaf? It woke us up and we couldn’t go back to sleep. When we finally did go back to sleep he started his car right under our bedroom window and woke us up again. It’s sad when people have no consideration for others. Of course this can happen anywhere and we will definitely be back to this lovely little park!
Small, quiet, large lots for our two dogs to stretch out. Host was great! Very good place to spend the night! Highly recommend.
This was our visit Boondockers Welcome stay and it was better than expected. Danny was very friendly and helpful. The location was easy to get to and there are some great hike trails nearby.
This is a lovely spot to stop for a night or two. The hosts are friendly and even loaned us some chairs so we could sit out in the cool breeze and listen to the night sounds. Our children really enjoyed the soft grass in our spot. We will definitely return. Side note: the lamp posts were my favorite! 🥰
Quiet, clean, beautiful site. All hookups and friendly. Will stay again
This is a beautiful place to stay right on Route 66. It was also very peaceful, considering you can see I-40 in the distance. Our gravel spot was level. The host was friendly and helpful. We would definitely make this a stop anytime we pass through the area!
Great stopover with easy access from I-40. The hosts at TerritoryRoute66 have created a wonderful little gem of a park. Very friendly folks who clearly take pride in providing RVers with a nice, peaceful place.
Very quiet and well maintained place. Thanks for the easy stay!
We had a change in plans do to Covid which altered our route. So on the way home. Territory Route 66 took us in at a request asked a few days in advance. Great hosts and Top Notch Camping Park. 5 stars and more. Highly recommend them for a visit. Hope to see them again when coming out West. "HPYTRLS" The Dob Pod.
Last minute stay at Territory Route 66 and it couldn’t have been better! They were so gracious and welcoming. Beautiful setting. We watched the sun set (and rise!) over the surrounding wheat fields.
We were so happy to stay with TerritoryRoute66 and were so thankful for the option of hookups! The wide open space was wonderful for our kids to run around and our hosts were incredibly gracious and easy to talk to, very welcoming. The location was perfect for our quick stopover and the sunset was just beautiful! Thank you!
The sites are nice and spacious with plenty of room to maneuver, easy to park and access hookups! Hosts were very helpful and friendly! Highly recommend it!
Friendly, helpful host and great campsite. Very conveniently located off I-40.
Territory Route 66 located right off hwy was nice. Cute small campground that is very well maintained. Host very nice and welcoming. Definitely stay again if in the area. "HPYTRLS" The Dob Pod
Very nice folks, greeted us when we arrived. Even their dogs were happy to see us. The directions seemed a little daunting but the journey was actually easy. No highway or train.
Wonderful setting, very quiet. Hosts were great with info on the area. Hope to see them again in the fall traveling back to AZ.
We so enjoyed our stay, it was interesting learning about some of the Route 66 history. After a quite and peaceful night, we were ready to continue our journey. Would love to return in the future.
We extended our stay at Territory Route 66 RV Camp over the Memorial Day Weekend. The gravel lots are large enough for our big rig motorhome plus the tow vehicle. Our views are wheat and hay fields. This is a new small campground with full hookups. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again when traveling I-40 in Oklahoma.
We loved it so much that we made arrangements to stay again on our return trip. We had another AMAZING time :) Look forward to the next time we get to visit with our new friends Carol & Dan :)
We had an amazing overnight stay! Nice quiet, small & peaceful campground with FHU available. We caught a beautiful sunset, and had an amazing view over wheat fields and rolling hills in the distance. Thunderstorm in the distance gave us an amazing light show in the evening.
Hosts are wonderful & generous people that will most certainly become people we keep in touch with and look forward to seeing anytime we are in the area!! We will DEFINITELY be back, in fact, already planning to stay on our way back through.
These are the type of wonderful people and stays that make me LOVE our BW membership!! :)
A great spot! Got in late and in the dark. It was very easy to find following directions and to spot it in the dark. We backed in fine in the dark. Host even greeted us as we arrived and made sure we were fine after our long day of driving and storms. So thoughtful.
Only caution...drive slow on the 2.2 miles on the old Route 66 road, speed bump and major seems along bridges over converts. The padunks are not too rough.
Absolutely brilliant and very lovely hosts
Had a very helpful welcome pack with lots of information on that was very helpful
Would definitely recommend this to anyone and would love to stay there again if I was in the area
Thanks for all your help Paul and Rosy
We had a wonderful time at TerritoryRoute66! Our hosts were so pleasant and kind! We enjoyed eating supper out with them at Lucille’s and learning a bit more about the original Route 66. We opted to pay the small amount for electrical hookup and enjoyed the WiFi. Very convenient, nice level spots, and lovely new lamppost lighting. We’ll definitely return if we’re in the area.
We are so glad we found your little Oasis.
You we're above and beyond the perfect host. We really enjoyed dinner and the left overs were great for a late dinner on the road. We also had a relaxing night sitting around the camp fire.
Al and Sheila
We were welcomed by Dan who visited with us a while and made sure we had everything we needed. Utilities all new. Perfect spot to de-winterize camper after coming from Wisconsin. We will stop here again.
This stay was a perfect stop on route heading west. Our hosts Danny and Carol were very nice and their campground was very well kept. Having 50 amp was perfect as it was a cold night. $15 is a bargain! The welcome package was not expected but certainly appreciated. Thank you Danny and Carol.
This was easy to get into off route 66. The owner was working all day on installing lights. Wish we would have gotten a chance to visit more but it was chilly n our girls needed inside. Thank you so much for having us. It was nice to hook up and get showers and not hold the water.
They guided us right in to their place then helped back the 5th wheel in. We chose the electric hook up and it was a very reasonable $15. The space was large and clean. It was a very quiet place to spend the night and we won’t hesitate to stay with them again. A+
Fantastic 2-day stay! Danny and Carol have created a phenomenal RV park. This location was not what we had expected from our Google map search ... be prepared to be welcomed with level gravel sites, lighted sign, easy on and off I-40, and of course, the warmth of Danny and Carole. Will definitely return!
These hosts have an unusual situation, read the description and house rules. We chose to support their enterprise.
Hosts met us at the location, let us pick our site, and made utilities available.
Both were very friendly and warm despite chilling temperatures and fierce wind.
We would stay again, and would like to get to know these hard-working souls better.
Nice people, would recommend anyone traveling thru to stay here. Going to be a great little RV park!!
A nice Park in the making. Host greeted us and told us we could Park in any site that suited us. Nice level gravel sites and 50 amp service! Boondockers is free but we opted for electric as it was getting chilly at night and TV is nice to have to pass the night and a bargain at $15. Quiet in spite of I40 within view. Nice country location with easy off/on. Wish them the best of luck with their endeavor.
We enjoyed meeting this delightful couple. They have worked hard to make a restful spot away from the busy freeway. They have a passion for their small town and a desire to give back to the community they love.
It’s so nice that, if we could, we’d stand on I-40 with a “Dancing Sign” to help fill it up.
Directions are great from every direction. Full hook-ups are available. We recommend this spot to anyone traveling thru OK.
We will come back one day and they are certainly welcome at our campfire anytime. We say “thank you”!
