We are Regan and Gerry from a small acreage in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island.
Regan is a retired social worker who now works her magic with flowers and her hobby, hypertufa.
I am also 62 and some what retired from contracting my services. I love to landscape, build things with wood and stone and mill wood with my woodmizer sawmill.
Life has been good to us and we like to share our experiences.
The picture is of Moxie, cause she is a darn sight cuter than we are!
Lots of landscaping and garden design work experience. Love to build stone retainers. After building two unique log and timber homes, I love to yack about renovations and share ideas about alternative type building.

Jerry and his wife were great hosts. You couldn't ask for nicer people. I enjoyed my stay with them and hope they get the chance to visit me in Florida someday.
We really loved to stay at your property, showed us so many things around Duncan area. Will always remember you people, maybe our ways cross someday again. All the best, Bodo and Andrea
We stayed overnight with thes folks and were more than pleased with them as hosts....they even came over to our campsite to start a fire in their big old pot bellied burner...great stay great people..thanks again..Doug and Cheryl
We had a nice stay and Gerry and Regan's place. Very nice people. Gerry has the site fixed up nice with water and 110 power. The fireplace/swing chair and the good conversation made it a pleasant evening. The site itself was a little low for our 28 ft RV but we managed. Thank you Gerry and Regan for the Boondocking and good company Shane and Zita
Regan and Gerry made us feel most welcome. Shame we didn't have more time to chat. It was a great base to explore the lovely Cowichan valley. Thanks for everything.
We've been so lucky with our Boondocker Hosts and we knew we were going to enjoy staying with Gerry and Regan as soon as we got to the top of their drive. We were peering at all the house numbers and saw a cardboard sign with our name and a smiley face on it. We were only going to stay one night, maybe two, but they're recommendation of a visit to Chemainus and a day trip with them round the nearby Cowichan river and Lake, persuaded us to stay at one of the Provincial Riverside Parks, then return to them for the night before our ferry trip to the mainland. We're hoping to return next year and see more of both Vancouver Island and Gerry and Regan.
We were so fortunate to have the privilege of staying here. Gerry and Regan could not have been more generous and welcoming to us in all aspects. We only intended to stay 1 night but they took the time out for us so it rolled into 2 and then we made sure we passed by again a few days later and caught up with them once more. We loved their company and sharing travel stories and of course Moxie won us over from the beginning. We only hope that one day they will come to NZ so we can re pay the hospitality Thank you so much Lynda and Lloyd
