Yes indeed...if you are into all things green, visit Khameleon! What a pleasant surprise! Besides the expanse of green grass and shady trees, there was plenty of the other kind of green...as in, huge solar panels producing loads of electricity, a smogless electric car, and an outdoor pizza oven made of a clay-like material. Yippee...my kind of life-style!!
My host sent me excellent directions and instructions on where to park, and there was no problem with me getting there before he returned from his golf game. I was already comfortably enjoying the peace and quiet of a lovely big country lot when he arrived.
Water and electricity were available if needed.
My dog was happily accepted and got to play with the resident pugs...Molly and Zoe...real cuties.
Later on my host brought me a huge piece of delicious home-made [from scratch] pizza...divine...
Next morning I got a really good lesson in technology...badly needed after a summer of tech problems...what can I say?...I am challenged. My host was extremely helpful and generous with his time.
All in all it was a very relaxing and interesting place to stay...and it put me in close proximity to a reunion next day in a nearby town...no rushing.
Hopefully on my next visit I will get to meet my hostess, who was out of town.
I highly recommend Khameleon as a great place to get away from it all and maybe learn something new!!
Highly recommended. Welcoming couple and very cute pugs. Very quiet spot.
