I'm always on the move - hiking, camping, snowshoeing, driving remote scenic byways and exploring small towns, finding good coffee and local breweries/wineries/farms, and meeting wonderful people along the way. I work in healthcare and have a flexible schedule that lets me explore 3-4 days a week, and my other half's schedule allows him to join me a few times a month. In 2017, I purchased a ClassB van and enjoyed more than 50k miles. Maybe along our travels we'll find where we'd like to retire ... plenty of time for that.
We love to share travel finds such as coffee roasters, farm stands, hiking trails and good boondock spots.
We have a German Shorthair Pointer we adopted this past year. She came to us in need of refining her training after having more than a year of 'freedom' due to inattention.
She is friendly, and she is coming along well with her training, but we don't let her off leash.
Too many to chose really, but we have a few favorite spots in the Oregon High Desert.
We call Portland, Oregon home these days.
I have a 2017 Hymer Aktiv ClassB RV built on the Dodge ProMaster 2500 chassis. It was one of the first 50 produced for the North American market before Hymer NA dissolved in early 2019. Length: 19ft 6in Height: 9ft 5in Width: 6ft 8in + 6in when side door step extends. No slides, don't usually use the awning beyond the side step.
Arrived as communicated. Let us know when she would be leaving. Doing what RVing is all about!
Communicated well, pleasant guest wanting a little time of solitude. Quietly left next morning. Welcome to come and stay again anytime.
WhereIs Chris was a wonderful guest. Her visit was short so hoping for another chance to sit and visit, it was too cold in February. Here’s to seeing you again. ☕️
It was a delight to host Chris! We had a nice visit, and got to tour her Hymer, a rare chance. I recommend her to any hosts! Hope to see her around here again.
