We enjoy ballroom dance, cycling, camping, cross-country skiing and hiking in the mountains. We also golf, (but very poorly).
We love to camp in the Drumheller Badlands, Kananaskis and Peter Lougheed Provincial Park. All of our recommendations for these locations are paid camping.

I'm sorry this recommendation is so late but we were at the start of a long trip. ilovemymotorhome were great hosts, warm and welcoming. Knowing we had come to Calgary to visit the stampede he was ready with information and advice on how to enhance our experience at the Stampede. Would certainly enjoy staying with them again
Fantastic folks in a very nice residential neighborhood. Our hosts shared their especially beautiful yard and lovely garden flowers, helping our six-year-old daughter make three fragrant bouquets!
Their home was a welcome site after driving all day. Got to spend some time getting to know them and our daughter warmed up to their dog right a way.
We stayed in Calgary one night, on our way home to Wpg and enjoyed meeting our hosts. They graciously invited us in for tea and shared a bit of their live as new retirees. We parked in their level driveway and had access to electricity which was great, given the near zero temperatures at the time. I would highly recommend them. Their home is close to all amenities and has easy access to the highway both east and west.
Member, ilovemymotorhome, graciously allowed us to park our caravan at his home during our stay in Calgary. He is very welcoming, interesting and friendly. He invited us into his home for a coffee and a chat to get to know one another. His parking space is limited to smaller trailers but was perfect for us. We would definitely recommend meeting him. Wishing them many more exciting trips after retirement.
We stayed with Dean and Marye during the Calgary Stampede.
They were great company and we enjoyed our stay immensely.
We stayed one night in the drive way of Dean and Marya in Calgary. Even thoigh it was in the city, it was a very quiet neighbourhood and we slept very well. Dean and Marya were very welcoming hosts who made us feel right at home. They have a very cute but shy little dog named Molly who did eventually allow us to have our hand licked. We would not hesitate to return.
