This is such a beautiful property. 7 acres of green, lush yard, trees and plants! And our hosts were lovely! They had lawn chairs set up by their pond and sat and chatted with us and then invited us on to their back porch for dessert! We shared stories and laughed and it was wonderful!!! We are for sure coming back!
Very safe neighborhood. A great location near Titusville and Kennedy Space Center. Plenty to do in close proximity!
Just when you think that hosts cannot possibly be any nicer than the ones you have stayed with previously, we landed at the Grove in the middle of a tropical storm and they welcomed us with open arms and porch. We had a lovely visit with 2 of the nicest people we have ever met. Thanks for showing us your town, we fell in love with the area.
Wow! Already a pair of A+ hosts but when you add getting to see the SpaceX launch in person from your spot, A++!! Lovely couple with great stories, local expertise, and of course, the fabulous yellow binder. Thanks for a great stay!
Wonderful location. We loved the pond, grove and peaceful surroundings! Our hosts were wonderful; we felt like we were visiting long lost friends!
Glena and Richard
Thank you for the amazing stay on your farm. The location was perfect for a quiet get away and in our case a night of wonderful conversation and comfort. The fish feeding and bird watching were so very much fun. Hope to see you again soon.
Everything about our stay was fabulous. It started with a cacophonous welcome from a flock of sandhill cranes and only got better from there. We saw fish and turtles in the pond, watched a rocket launch (!), toured the orange grove, ate fresh fruit from the trees, and had engaging conversations. We hope to stay again some day to hear more stories!
We had a very good time at The Grove. We had a great welcome visit and then the outside fun began! We learned about plants, flowers, the grove and the correct way to cut citrus. They really made sure we had info about the area with the "yellow" binder. They made us all feel like family. We look forward to future visits! Thanks so much :)
I’m new with the travel trailer and they were the most amazing hosts! They help me with some great RV tips. They were also very helpful and provided me with information on the local places. Thank you very much for your great hospitality!
My Grandson and I couldn't have been more lucky than to have these lovely people host us on our Maiden voyage of our Motorhome.., AND our 1st Boondockers Welcome experience. Beautiful couple, Gracious hospitality, and Great advice for Kennedy Space Center. We had to cut our visit short by one day due to me forgetting my prescription medicine, but can only hope all future Boondockers Welcome experiences are as pleasant.
Thank-You so much for all you did.
There are no words adequate enough to describe the hospitality these hosts showed us. We loved every minute of our visit! We hope they'll find their way to Ontario soon where we will welcome them not just as fellow bondockers but as good friends.
We stayed at the Grove and it was a chance for us to meet great people. The host are so generous and interesting. We had nice conversations and a lot of informations on the orange grove. The site is well located 30 min to the beach and 40 min to Kennedy Space Center .
Thank you for your hospitality.
Lise & Mario
We had a great visit at the Grove and want to thank the host. He was very gracious and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be heading back here next time we are in the area. Thanks for showing us around and for your hospitality.
Very kind couple, very quiet place to stay.
Thanks for all...Richard and Glenda 💐🌸
Richard's wife was traveling but Richard and I had some great conversations. Great boondocker welcome hosts....
Our host walked us in from the street to a private location for our camper by a citrus grove. We sat and talked for a while (we are both former USCG). He has 30 amp service which is a real plus. Highly recommended location and host!
Une belle plantations d'orange et Richard est un host généreux et sympathique 😀
We visited the Grove for the second time and again it was a treat to stay here. We had some great conversations, the stories from the past were worth a good laugh and touring the Grove was fun to do also. We were lucky to observe a rocket launch from his back yard too which was a first for us. Every time we will peel an orange we will think fondly off you, thanks again!!
It has been about 3 years since visiting Florida and boondocking at The Grove. Very happy to renew our friendship and share great conversation. Thanks you, until we meet again.....
What a great time we had here. A beautiful location and the most gracious and accommodating hosts. We learned so much about orange groves, drones and gators. We would love to come back someday.
What a lovely couple we had the pleasure of meeting. Enjoyed an evening discussing their adventures and hospitality. Hope to see them again.
The hosts were so gracious, we toured the orange orchard and had a great chat about the history of this wonderful couple. So much fun! We are so appreciative, can’t wait to stay again when we are in the area!
It has been a treat to stay at the grove , learn about citrus products , also about sailing since Richard has a very cool trimaran. Both Glenda and Richard were the best of hosts . We hope to meet again and share more stories .
This was our first time using "Boondockers Welcome" and Richard and Glenda went way out of their way to make it extra extra special and memorable!! They are extraordinary and interesting people. We loved hearing their stories. Immediately upon meeting them, we almost felt like we were family!! Honestly, we were very spoiled!
Their property is absolutely gorgeous! By day we were fascinated by a pair of sandhill cranes and at night we were lulled to sleep by the frogs in their pond.
We appreciated Richard and Glenda's organization, too. Communication was very prompt. They also had a binder with information and maps that helped us find our way around.
If I were giving out stars, I would enthusiastically give them a 10++++! Definitely, this experience was awesome!
What can I say, we have been to The Grove twice now over the past 2 years and can't recommend it enough.
When we head south now we visit them instead of my family (please don't tell my family).
Richard and Glenda are some of the most interesting and generous folks you could ever hope to meet, it will give you faith in humanity again! Love them, love their place, cheers, Jorge.
As the title of this review states, visiting these hosts is an opportunity not to be missed!! Their warm generosity, organized hospitality, and hilarious personality equate to the perfect visit. We cannot recommend these folks enough...meeting them has been a true highlight. We hope we get to see them again. Thanks so much for your camaraderie!
What a wonderful time we have had at The Grove. The hosts were beyond amazing making us feel so welcome and at home. They shared their insights into this amazing area and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Orange Grove tour and tasty fruit to sample and a lovely tour of the area. Our favourite is the waterfront park and boat launch nearby and the amazing Black Point Wildlife Drive. It was so wonderful to learn about and explore the “real” Florida. It is no wonder so many come to stay here. It was heavenly for us.
Had a relaxing 3 night stay at the
Grove and would definitely return here. Hosts are informative with a prepared binder with maps and things to explore. The tour of there citrus farm was enjoyable as well as the freshly picked fruit.
See you again!
Our hosts were very welcoming and delightful! The grounds are beautiful with power and water. We were able to pick some Oranges from the Grove and got a tour of the property. Very fun!

I ended up staying here two nights. The hosts are delightful and full of information about the area. I loved the jaunt through the orange grove to pick oranges.
We had a fabulous time staying at The Grove. The hosts were very welcoming and generous, giving us a tour of their orange grove (plus lots of fruit, straight off the trees!) and also showing us some of the local sights. They are very interesting people and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them a bit during our stay.
Thanks so much!!
I had a great time boondocking at the Grove! My dog Danni loved the hosts and they were si kind to her. I was treated like part of the family. We had dinner together bith nights. I have made 2 more new friends. This is my 2nd experience with Boondockers Welcome and. wonderful one, we had fun.
Yep! We came back....couldn’t return to the USA without visiting The Grove. They both are so welcoming and it is an ideal way to feel right at home and start our new adventure. They introduced us to the real Florida ....including gator taxidermy. If we come back this way again we will make sure we catch up with our Floridian mates.
From the minute we were met by Richard and directed to our parking spot, we knew we were in for a treat. Richard and Glenda take hospitality to a whole different level, going over and beyond what anyone would expect. They are a treasure trove of knowledge on so many subjects and we have many common interests. They introduced us to geocaching and showed us around the community. Their property is the "real Florida" and they are "real Floridians". We really had such a good time visiting with them, it was hard leaving our new extended family. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Thanks for such a special experience.
We enjoyed to speak about travelling and life experiences. Thank you very much Richard and Glenda.
We stayed with Richard and Glenda 4 years ago and had a great time. We stayed again to see a rocket launch from Cape Kennedy. Again they were so friendly and helpful in guiding us on various routes to get to the launch viewing area. We also went to a great restaurant owned by Larry Csonka, former Miami Dolphins player from the 70's. We would love to host them at our home in Virginia someday.
Great hosts, great location, super convenient to the interstate. Very welcoming, interesting people with tons of knowledge of the area and amazing stories. Truly great experience, highly recommend The Grove and would love to visit again.
We had a great time at the Grove. A beautiful place to be and to visit...and what great poeple we have meet! Glenda and Richard are really fun, have good stories and are very inpsirationnal!
Wonderful hosts, wonderful location! Quiet, peaceful spot to park in their large yard with water and electric available. Easy access from the highway. Very welcoming to us and our dog. Interesting people with lots of interests and knowledge who shared info on the area, even printed us a map to one site. I don't see how this experience could be topped. ;-) We came away with fruit from their orchard, a large hunk of chocolate cake, and warm memories of getting to know a lovely, lively, interesting couple.
3.5 yrs ago, when we first visited, we thought the Grove's hospitality couldn't be beat. We were wrong as they exceeded it during our recent re-visit. R&G are most interesting folks & sure know hospitality. Many thanx to them for being such awesome hosts !
The Grove was the ideal campsite with the ideal hosts. They’re in a nice quiet farming area close to all the attractions of the Space Coast. But what made our stay so special and longer than we had planned was that our hosts went out of their way to accommodate us. They even have a tape recording of frogs to create more ambience.
They are a delightful couple and the highlight of our trip so far.
They were very kind and welcoming. They took us on a tour of their citrus grove, allowed us to refill our water, and shared many adventurous stories! They also were very helpful in providing information for our visit to their area for things to do and see. We really enjoyed our time with them and would like to visit again!
In addition to providing convivial conversation and a wonderful parking spot near their citrus grove, the hosts have lots of information on area activities. We went to Kennedy Space Center and Canaveral National Seashore during our several-day stay in early February.

Ever been at a citrus grove? Been picking your own there? Being invited to blend with the local community when boondocking? Not we! This place has it all. With lots of space and facilities. And above all, Richard and Glenda are the perfect hosts. Helpful and considerate. We felt more than welcome. Thank you, THE GROVE. Never forget you!
Guylaine and I had the pleasure of boondocking at The Grove's home/orange grove for 3 nights. What a wonderful experience. The tour of the orange grove was very educational. There is a very interesting fact about the sour orange tree that is quite intriguing. The location is so peaceful. They were very kind to us. He repaired the mirrors on the Roadtrek which involved re-tapping the support screw holes. The mirrors now operate better than the day they left the factory. She gave us a couple tips for our visit to the Kennedy Space Center. We learned alot, laughed a lot and very much enjoyed our stay. Absolutely wonderful people. Thanks so much.
Guylaine & Padhraig
Outstanding, Excellent, Superb, Wonderful, how many adjectives could I use. Beautiful quiet surroundings, wonderful hosts and could not be treated any better if I were at any 5***** resort anywhere. Take care my friends and I will see you again!
If I tell people how thoughtful, kind and generous you two are... if I tell them about your stunning, spacious, setting and optimal location, we'll, I'm concerned you'll get overrun!
Wonderful Experience! Kind People, 5 Star*****, enjoyed learning about Citrus and the beauty of the Florida Flora and Fauna~This is real Florida, Citrus country living. Thank you! Paula
What an introduction to boondockerswelcome! This was our first experience, and The Grove have far, far surpassed our expectations. Their effusive warmth, consideration and hospitality were amazing. The location is quiet, their citrus grove tour exceptional, and their stories fascinating. We can't imagine a better experience. Just very, very nice, 'real' people.
We enjoyed our stay at The Grove's place so much. They showed us around their beautiful citrus Farm, it was amazing. Thank You so much. All the best for You...
We've been received by the host like VIP. This place is quiet and peacefull. We stayed for one night and we wush to return if we pass by.
Thank you to "The Grove".
Very interesting place, our host explain with passion all about orange grove. It's a quiet place. Thank you Richard and Glenda.
This is our second time staying with the Grove. Had a nice time catching up with them and learning more about Florida. They are wonderful hosts, easy going, friendly, and generous with their time. If you happen to stay, ask Richard about his homemade mouse trap and his GPS holder for the boat. We hope to stay with them again when we are in the area.
Warm and helpful you won't go wrong by staying here. The kind of peopel you would like to have as friends back home. If you are in the area be sure to stay with them if you can.
Glenda & Richard are superb hosts-bar none!! The memorable time we spent with them last year brought us back this year. They made us feel like family. Kind and thoughtful, their knowledge of the area is immense and exciting! We will definitely be returning.
We miss them already and would love to return someday!!! Thank you for such a wonderful time!!
We spent a very enjoyable two nights with our hosts Richard and Glenda. We got along very well with them with interesting conversation as we had many things in common. They were extremely helpful giving us useful information about our intended visit to the Kennedy Space Centre. We also enjoyed tasting the citrus fruits from The Grove. Thanks a lot to you both.
Richard and Glenda are a wonderful couple. We had a great time once again. We felt so welcome. Wonderful to share meals and great social time. Hopefully some day you may come to Canada. Your friends Joan and Murray
We just spent 2 nights at The Grove and had a delightful time. Our hosts were so much fun and couldn't do enough for us The facilities were excellent as was the hospitality. They set the bar very high for other boondockers locations. We hope to return some day and hear more of their stories.
I stayed with Richard and Glenda this past week, and had a wonderful time. Thanks so much!
I couldn't have felt more welcome - from Richard's guiding me to the camping spot to Glenda surprising me with a birthday cake and candle. Add to their warm hospitality and generosity a wonderful mix of travel and sailing stories, a tour of their orange grove and workshop and a beautiful Florida setting. I didn't want to leave ! ! And knew I would miss their warmth and support when I was back on the road again. I'll certainly come back ! !
Richard and Glenda were wonderful hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were made to feel most welcome. Their facilities are very nice for boondocking. We look forward to visiting them again when we are in the area. Pete and Carol.
We spent 4 wonderful days w/ Richard & Glenda & would have enjoyed staying much longer. They are incredible hosts -interesting, entertaining, gererous, friendly, informative, & fun. Told them we'd submit a negative recommendation so they wouldn't be constantly booked but couldn't bring myself to actually do so. Hope there will be room for us on next trip to FL. BTW they grow the sweetest citrus I've ever tasted. Many thanx to R&G !!!
Richard & Glenda are wonderful people they helped us get around and showed us some of the area sites and gave us a tour of their grove which their cute little dog joined us on
We found them to be polite, warm, and accommodating
They also welcomed our pets which made a very relaxed stay-- we stayed with them for 4 nights and became good friends
We would recommend them highly and will look forward to staying with them again
Richard and Glenda are some of the friendliest people that we have ever met. They were so accommodating and interesting. They showed us their orange grove which is very interesting, as well as other local sites. They gave us helpful information on touring the Canaveral National Seashore. I hope I can return the favor by hosting them sometime.
The Grove is a friendly welcoming spot. Glenda and Richard are perfect hosts. They are so warm and welcoming. We came for 1 night and stayed for 3. We had lots of fun with several new experiences, telling stories and developing a new friendship. Thanks for a great time and hope our paths will cross again. Joan and Murray
I had the privilege to stay at "The Grove" for two nights, just left them this morning. It was my first boondockers experience so I wasn't sure what to expect, Richard and Glenda exceeded my hopes. They are the nicest people, and I am so glad I got to meet them and spend time with them. Thank you both again, for the wonderful visit.
Friendly and hospitable couple whose orange grove location is perfect for visiting the Kennedy Space Centre and Canaveral National Seashore. Lots of local knowledge which they were happy to share. Bing invited to a rural Thanksgiving with their friends and family was the icing on the pumpkin pie!
